I got a Combination plate and it it was great the food was fantastic and very good and great this is the best Chinese food that I have ever been too.
We were pleasantly surprised at this small town Chinese restaurant.... delightful staff and the best ginger beef we have had since Happy Garden in Edmonton closed. The rest of the dishes... chicken with cashews, shrimp chop suey and fried rice... were just as good. Ten times better than anything we have tried in Edmonton, Spruce Grove or Stony Plain!!! Heartily recommend and we shall return.

Finally a great Chinese restaurant ! After trying several Chinese restaurants in Edmonton and being very disappointed , we have found a really good one in the little town of Devon,! We had given up finding anything n the Edmonton area and waited until we visited Calgary to go out for a Chinese meal. I read the reviews on this one and we decided to give it a try . Our server was very friendly . The food was quick to come to our table and was wonderful . Just a short drive from our home too. We defiantly plan on making this restaurant a regular place to go for truly great Chinese food
Great stop for lunch.. I had an odd job in Devon and stopped here for lunch. I had the whole restaurant to myself ( It was around 1:30pm ) and it was awesome. The food arrived very fast. I had ginger beef, green onion cakes and some rice. I can say that it was the best all time ginger beef I've had in Canada so far. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Friendly staff and fantastic food! We've ordered from House of Goodys 4 times now in the past 3 months and each time gets better and better! We will be lifetime supporters!

House Of Good Eats!. With all the restaurants we have in Edmonton, you'd think we wouldn't have to drive out of town to find a decent Chinese food restaurant,....but in our case it appears that way. We have not had any success in finding good Chinese food in the last while and were really giving up hope. I've been keeping a steady eye on the reviews to this place though, and we were determined to try it, and if it wasn't good, then this would be our last attempt in another long while. Originally we were thinking of getting take out and going to sit by the river just to go someplace quiet as we were around too many people lately, too many crowds, and too much noise. When we walked in, however, there sat a nice buffet and a quiet, peaceful restaurant. After huddling in the corner for a few minutes we made the executive decision to eat in and have the buffet! :-D Of course it helped that we were met by a very kind and friendly lady who told us fresh food was being brought out for us,...which it was,....very quickly. And she kept on top of it too....making sure that everything we wanted was brought out fresh. We ate and ate....and sad to say, did not take time out to take pictures. But the food redeemed our hopes again of happy Chinese food places....and happy full tummy's once again!! We're very glad we dropped in here, and suffice to say, we don't need to go anywhere else but here when we've got our Chinese food craving going on! Two chopsticks up on this place!!

Top Drawer. Have had many awesome meals here, wether, buffet or menu. Both excellent. Best chinese food around. The service was very good.
Worth the drive to devon. Was at leduc oil centre and decided to go into devon for early supper. Sign said under new management, for whatever that means....
Well, food was simply great! Standard canadian chonese food with some real good authentic dishes mixed in. Everything was changed up a bit from the standard fair typically served and everything was quite good!
We have contemplated driving out to devon just to go back!
Best shrimp. I love shrimp of all sorts and House of Goody has the best. I love the peach shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp and the special fried rice. The spring rolls are delicious with just a touch of curry. We live in Calmar and regularly drive to Devon for chinese food. The cleanliness of the restaurant and friendly staff always make us feel welcome
Fantastic. This is worth the drive from Edmonton. The smorg is always good but I prefer to order from the menu. I have not had one dish that is not excellent. The service, pricing and quality is far above average. I highly recommend House of Goodys to anyone who loves Chinese food to take a trip to Devon. Tuesday the restaurant is closed.
Best for Chinese food. Is the best of the three Chinese food places in Devon, nice people and very sizable portions. I leave there feeling full and with money in my pocket.
Great food!. We had the meal for 6 one last week, and the portions were amazing! We probably could have fed 9 people, as we had a ton of leftovers. The food was fantastic. It was fresh and not greasy at all. In fact, I would have to say it was the best western style Chinese food I have ever had. It far out does anything I have had in Edmonton. Bravo House of Goody!
Dinner for 2 is enough for dinner and lunch the next day for both of us.
