Review Peekaboo Japanese Bistro - Delta

Tried the sashimi bento. The presentation of the bento is nice. The tempura had a perfect crisp coating. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and clean tasting. The miso soup was average and the salad just tasted like normal Asian style vinaigrette salad. The rice could have been moister and plumper but overall, this place serves a tasty quality bento box dinner. If note.. The restaurant is nice inside with booth seating but smells a bit like old woodiness.

I enjoyed the friendly greeting when I first entered the restaurant. It was quite and I email getting the window seat. The restaurant has great ambience. The lunch specials are a great deal. The soup was not very tasty because it was very watery. The rolls tasted great and were a great size. The chop sticks a Lee not very good quality. I love the tea. Ordered an additional salmon cone. There was not a lot of rice or salmon in the roll. Not the best food presentation. The manager was yelling at the staff. I may come by again. Undecided!

Korean style fried chicken is AMAZING! The chef is AMAZING, too. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

It's great to have a sushi place right in the heart of Tsawwassen. Prices are reasonable and the food is always good. Everyone that works there is very friendly. They have Japanese booths that you can reserve should you like a bit more privacy. I took a few pictures of the menu. Next time I'll remember to take one of the food! It looked so good that it didn't last long enough for a picture! Drop by and be surprised at the selection.

The quality of the sashimi and sushi here is top notch. Just as good as any downtown place, and better than most in the lower mainlaind. The chef really cares about the product. Always very fresh and we'll cut, and clean tasting. The rolls are really great tasting. The rice is excellent. The freshness and quality here is superb. Support this business.

Lobster Roll, Tsawwassen Roll, Sashimi Platter, and they do allergy modifications! This place is really high quality. I received an EXCEPTIONAL Chef's Sashimi platter here on a Long Weekend! Why is that significant? It means he orders fresh stuff and throws out bad stuff even wehn business is slow! Really friendly staff. New manager/sushi chef is doing a great job. Sashimi has now 2 times in a row been excellent. Staff were very thorough and caring. Food and drinks are very are well priced for such excellent quality. You can't go wrong!

Tried this for the first time last weekend and it was ok overall, chicken karaage has always a big part of our family's sushi dinners but was truly disappointed with the "karaage" that Eko-ya makes... First it's just chicken wings , not chicken thighs .. I've noted on the bone description on the menu and assumed it was chicken thigh with bone which is how it's usually made. It was badly fried chicken wings with a tasteless batter similar to my high school cafeteria food. I gave the experience 3 stars because the rolls were decent but I hope that the resto considers making a true version of the fried chicken to accompany the sushi. It'll be my first and last time ordering here.
