Review Tandoori Flame Restaurants - Delta

I’ll start with the good points. The food is fresh and tasty, it has a nice flavour and variety of choices. The place looks nice. Almost crowded. We went there on Saturday evening, the buffet service was $36 for each person, all you can eat. Why 2 stars! We went to use the washroom it was really dirty, both in men and women side. I informed the receptionist, they sent someone, who did not clean just flushed which seemed okay at first, but the problem is we were served by the same person at the table with the same apron!!! The drinks have separate bills which is understandable, but even the tea or hot water is not included in 36 $ and you have to pay extra. There was a 12% service fee. I am probably not coming back because of the service, fee, hygiene and the attitude of the server. I have never experienced this attitude, the pose wasn’t working and the server took my card with no permission and tapped it for the payment which was the really first time to encounter such a thing. I love Indian food and have been to many Indian restaurants in Vancouver, so far this one was the worst experience and the most expensive one at the same time.

One of the finest place I have ever eaten. The setup is great, seating area is very comfortable and the staff is super friendly. The food was over the satisfactory level and the price was super cheap. I'll say for the quality the the price is super cheap. I loved everything. Everyone have to visit this place once. Fully recommended. The place has a large carpark, clean washroom, and all the foods you need to eat....

I loved the food, the atmosphere, the interiors, and the overall organization. The staff were super professional and friendly, and were doing great even when it got super busy. I gave 5 stars but still have one tip to the management. The sink in the male washroom doesn't work properly, and when it does, the water has a very high pressure that splatters everywhere. Definitely my favorite Indian buffet in Canada so far and I'm definitely coming back again.

Nice Indian cuisine Buffet. Atmosphere and decoration is nice and staff are friendly. Food taste good. It can be super crowded during weekend and Friday nights. A good choice for larger groups as they provide tables for 20 people and larger. Drinks are offered separately, it can be tricky because staff are bringing drinks and refill, and they will be very expensive at the end. If you are sensitive to spices, maybe you should rethink about coming to an Indian cuisine restaurant.

I am firmly of the opinion that for the great cost that it takes to travel out to venues for meals overall (time, travel, fuel, meal, taxes, etc.). So here’s my rating: * Cost and Value For such a large variety of fresh food, nicely prepared and served consistently, I think the price tag was in the ballpark. Along with a speciality drink and the tip it was about $45 each and we enjoyed a three hour meal relaxedly. * Customer Service Our server was pleasant and helpful, taking us on a guided tour of the buffet and showing us the meals that were vegetarian and how to interact with the stations where we could order a fresh dosa and others items to spec. * Enjoyment and Presentation Overall everything was very nice, I recommended slightly more attention on their salad bar to keep the salads full, and some minor additional labeling to clarify what was vegetarian in the different sauces. A beautiful restaurant with colourful delicious food and a nice seating area and environment. One note that the music was a little too modern and loud, something softer and more traditional would fit the style of decorating and add to the relaxation of digestion. I would highly recommend this buffet for a try whenever you are in the area 🙏🏼👍🏼

Being a non-vegetarian, Chicken, Fish starters were great. Main course items were okay in taste. Gulab jamun in Dessert with vanilla ice cream is a must try. Overall good experience. The staff is good and humble. The non-alcoholic beverages offered are a bit overpriced.

Last week, I took the restaurant recommended by the Uber Indian driver. He was very friendly. He said that the best way for people like me who don’t know how to order food is to go to the buffet.

beautiful restaurant and we received great service but being a banquet Restaurant manager i am used to buffet food (we also have a lot of indian weddings) i found a lot cheaper cold items in the middle buffet and chose none as it did not look appetizing. I started at the beginning of the hot line and was about half way through which was mostly cheaper fried kids items, the chicken Tika had 3 pieces left which were dry, the butter chicken was just ok, the chicken Biryani had no flavour, there was no beef or no lamb dishes so what i ate was just ok but i didn't enjoy it and wouldn't go back....big fale that could have been great

First things first..3 stars are NOT for food but an experience. We went to newly opened highly publicized Surrey branch yesterday. Wait Times - Luckily we were on time and did not wait long. Otherwise huge line up. Food - The food I would rate as OKAY. If it's only food I would rather prefer going to Tasty Indian Bistro. What I liked was, it's a nice place to socialize. I went with a group of 12 friends and we really enjoyed. We had some non Indian friends in the group who liked the food but even they had, had better before. Pricing - Kids pricing perfect, but no drink included in 12$ meal. Adult buffet pricing 20$ without tax, I would say is more. For vegetarians, buffet pricing should be same as kids as there are very few non-meat items. Starters - Not so good golgappe ( an essential Indian snack), only vegetarians choice potatoes. Main course - Average Dessert - Again okay. The website says 10% gratuity for a group of 10 or more, we didn't get any. I had a free buffet coupon which I couldn't use because of specific dating ( no company provides coupons like that ) Overall, I am happy that I went but for next time I rather would just hangout elsewhere with my family and friends. Definitely not going back for food ! And it should not be marketed as INDIAN BUFFET, its just Punjabi buffet (basically the spread we have in average weddings)

I had a great experience. We waited 2 hours in line for dinner but it was well worth it. The restaurant is gorgeous, the service was fantastic (very attentive) and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. I will definitely go again (when the line up dies down a bit). A great addition to our community! Well done.

Enjoyed lunch today with a group of friend at the Surrey location. Food and selection was very good. Would recommend and would return. A few suggestions, have a staff walk around often refilling water glasses, skip the plastic straws and plastic clear dessert cups.

Variety of food is good, but sitting arrangement are too congested and service sucks. We were sitting there more than 1 hour, but no one came to ask for drinks even. And taste of food is just average.

Let's start with its new and there is alot of hype about a buffet in the area. There are also a lot of people waiting to try it. Alot of variety but flavour was not on point. Some things were great and some not so. Butter chicken was not good. Chick peas were so spicy could barely eat it. I think after a couple months when the hype slows down they may get their ingredients on par and the food will taste the same every time. Seems like one day the food tastes one way the next day at taste different from what I've gathered. The layout of food is awesome. We waited for a while for service for drinks. We were told we would be seated in about 10 minutes and apparently they called our name two times but then gave our seats away and we were only about six feet away. It's so loud in there. Surprised they didn't have a buzzer or an intercom to call your name. I understand that it's this busy right now and this hype will slow down but in the meantime we wait an additional 15 minutes but the food was okay. I feel that the other restaurant up the street has nothing to worry about

Went there tonight good selection, food was not bad but not amazing. I was really disappointed with the service . They moved us too two different tables after sitting at each for fives minutes then tried to get us to move again. We waited 35 minutes for our drinks we ordered . And waited over 30 minutes for our bill. Funny enough the server came to our table 4 times but kept for getting our bill and then the machine. We own a restaurant , so I could see big flaws in things such as there dish stations which are pull through all tables in the dinning rooming with three large rubber bins showing the towering dishes. The fact that that there is no were to put any dishes near the food . I put something on my daughters plate and then needed to get a new one and I was told to bring it all the way back to my table. Not to mention the 20 minute wait which was small for us but was 10 times the size when we left. We love tasty Indian bistro , and we’ll continue to go there.

I went there with my family and I was disappointed with the service and the food specialty non vegetarian food I tried all the non vegetarian curries and there was no taste and they create lot of hype about the food but it was not so exceptionally good it’s normal

The food was not bad at all, although I must say it's nothing especial as compared with The Indian Bistrom, Mahek or House of Punjab...will probably go back when the it's not too busy. the line up was long and the place is totally crowded, the table are set very close to each other, it was hard to move around.

It wasnt anything out of the blues. Panipuri tasted terrible seems boiled potatoes and chickpea. Tandòori chicken masala tasted raw. Curries to much masala

Food was okay but the service is extremely bad. We were given dirty glasses both of ours had lipstick on them as well as finding dirty cutlery we had to repeatedly asked for water. We also had to ask 3 different waiters to get our bill and still waited a long time Very dissatisfied with this restaurant.
