Came across this Monument while driving around Deer Park. Beautiful Black Granite with engraved marking of local that died in different wars.

My father Saumarez Duffenais and my mom Margaret were members of this Branch before they passed. I remember attending many dances there with them and a few bingo games with my Mom. Our whole family held one of our main meals there during our family reunion in 2008. All great experiences. This place meant so much to my parents especially my father who served in WWll in 59th Heavy Regiment.
