we came from moncton and we where on a hunt for food and we couldn't figure out what we wanted to eat....look at the recommendation we got earlyer in the day and we decided this location and i honestly can say this was the best experience i EVER had...im a big guy who knows how to cook and i was blown away....we showed up was told it be a long wait time for food and table and we almost got in right away for table...server tess was very friendly and quick on refills for drinks and im glad i listen to her advise and change our game plan instead took calamari for appetizer and then we had the surf and turf deluxe i called it had full lobster,shrimp,scallops,clams,steak,took the roasted potatoes and Caesar salad and desert was deep fried ice cream....and i have to tell you i never had a best meal the steak was cook perfect melt in your mouth and seafood wasn't over cook.....i even told the waitress to hug the chef thats how amazing and happy i was for that meal.......i will def recommend it to EVERYONE thank you soo much you made a big man full and happy

This is our go to every time for steak. I’ve Persia Kay never had a better steak for the price in the area. I don’t bother going anywhere else because it’s always A1 service and food. We don’t mind waiting either. Lol 100% worth the wait!
Last night I had booked the back room for a retirement/birthday party for a dear friend and coworker. I had 26 confirmed people coming and had double checked with everyone as to who would be attending. Eleven extra people showed up! Your staff went, in my opinion, above and beyond to accommodate our new needs! Not only did they put together another double table very quickly, but they did it with smile and “No worries, glad to help!” . Your restaurant was already, as usual, busting at the seams. The servers assigned to our group where so patient, professional and just overall so pleasant! I really can’t say enough good things.
Oh! And not to forget your kitchen staff! Our food all came out at the same time hot and fresh! I didn’t hear one person complain. I will recommend your establishment to anyone who asks!
Please tell your staff how wonderful they are and give them our thanks once again.
My little guy and I went to the Micmac Bar and Grill to celebrate us moving back east. I promised him a lobster dinner. Micmac Bar and Grill did not disappoint! This was my first time in the new building. It still had the open and welcoming feel. Our waitress was fantastic and had a wonderful personality! She was great looking after us, with the little guy and his lobster and myself suggesting the porter from Nine Locks Brewing Company next door. Food was delicious and the Hospitality a 10+,Thank you so much for making our dinner so awesome!
I’ve been eating at “The Mic Mac” since I was just a kid and it was still a smokey tavern, it’s always a favourite and I can’t rave enough about the food, atmosphere and staff. I decided to write this because while visiting this week, our drinks had no straws. I looked around and most other people did not have straws in their drinks. I’m assuming this is intentional! Fantastic decision - thank you for caring about our environment and taking steps to reduce unnecessary waste. You guys are awesome.
We were there for supper on Mothers day.
Told by phone that it would be 20 minutes before seating and at least another 40 minutes before food. We decided to go anyway. This seemed quite acceptable, with no reservation anywhere else, on this day.We were seated in 15 minutes, soup 15 minutes later. Meal 20 minutes after that. Timeline better that expected and Excellent service from everyone.
We were pleasantly surprised. We had prepared for the worst in this high traffic day and got the best. Mic Mac knows how to turn over a crowd...:-)
I can see why it was so busy. Excellent food, Barry the bartender was awesome. Both those guys work hard behind that bar. I am from Alberta and if I am in that area again, I will be going back for sure! Highly recommend Micmac's! Thank you for the great dining experience!

A bit noisy but i'd def go again.�
My wife and I love this place. The steaks are always done the way you order them and I love the variety of side dishes. We have stopped ordering appetizers because we always end up uncomfortably full when we do. The prices there have gone up, but costs for fuel, food and electricity have all gone up, so it makes sense to me. If you want cheap, go to McDs. If you want quality, go to the Mic Mac.
Best run food joint in eastern Canada never had a bad meal
Awesome food steak was delicious, best steaks in Halifax-Dartmouth area and service was quick and friendly.
We had a table of 12 we were never without drinks our waitress was phenomenal and our food was amazing highly recommended!!
