Good coffee or a light meal. Newspapers to read. Parking can be tough once all the other stores open. Lots of seating, be it up at the front window, high tables or comfy leather chairs.

Worst service I have experienced in Comox Courtenay. Three behind the counter but only one interested in working at any given moment. Not engaged with customers at all. My aunt had a loyalty card with a free coffee, clerk did not honour it and said to use it next time. There will not be a next time. There are so many other options with excellent service just steps away.

horrible service. Rude to me and to someone else today. “Cleared”my coffee away when I took a call outside and denied it to my face. I thought I was crazy and bought another coffee while trying to figure out what happened. My daughter then said she saw the barista take it!!! I’ve always worked in service and have never experienced something so blatantly rude.

Made a comment to a girl working about one of the baked goods tasting off. Was interrupted by another woman who was quite rude and very defensive. Very frustrating and was unable to communicate the issue due to her defensiveness. Very disappointing experience, probably will not return due to it.

This place is really good, when I come I love to get their brownies, they have a new kind every time I go, their wifi is really nice to just sit there and write while looking out at the people walking. No matter what season or what weather, it's the best place in downtown Courtenay

Rude servers and very slow service. The bowl of chili I ordered took over twenty minutes to arrive and there were only three other customers in the café at the time (all of whom had already been served) The Americano I ordered was weak and flavourless and when I took it back the server very rudely defended its freshness and offered nothing to replace it. We had been there before and had a more positive experience but this visit was our last.
