Review Bigfoot Donuts - Courtenay

Marc C.
We stopped here during our recent Vancouver Island trip, since we love donuts and read the raving revues. We order 1/2 a dozen assorted donuts. Great quality, great flavors and very fresh donuts; friendly staff and great looking shop. Anyone who is used to Vancouver pricing, will be suprised, to get 1/2 for $15. Highly recommended to everyone who loves donuts.

Great staff, environment, service, coffee, donuts, and food. What more can one want? I ordered many boxes of donuts for customers as a thank you around Christmas last year and they were ready on time and the ordering process was easy. Always a great stop in the morning on my way to work.

A cute coffee and donut place in courtenay. Was in town for work and thought I'd stop by since I'd been hearing so much about the place. I ordered a dozen donuts for about $28 and the staff who tried them all loved it. I had a bite of the crueller which I enjoyed :) I will definitely stop by again whenever I am in town next.

Drove an hour to try the ‘best donuts’ and they were sold out by 12 and we got there at 12:30. They’re open to 2:30… not happy with that. But it must be a testament to how good their donuts are. Update: we called ahead this time, reserved 2 donuts, but they had plenty left at 1:30. Well worth the trip back, excellent donuts. Changed from a 3 to 5 star. If you plan to go here, just make sure you’re not going on a day they have a special event, unless you plan on getting there early because you will miss out. Thanks for the reply and suggestion to my original review!

These guys have done an exceptional job building up their business. They have put a ton of hard work into it and it shows. The donuts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious. If there was ever a reason to come to Courtney, this would be it!

Finally made it to Bigfoot Donuts & they did not disappoint! Their doughnuts are light & fluffy & full of flavour. We bought a bunch of their signature Bigfoot Doughnuts to take home for the kids. They were a couple of days old by the time we got home from our trip (we stored them in an airtight container in the fridge) but our kids inhaled them! Did I mention they have some pretty amazing breakfast sandwiches too?! Definitely worth the stop while in Courtenay or passing through! @inspiringfoodie

Love this spot, our family makes regular trips to Courtenay and the Donuts at Bigfoot are always a must! Their customer service is top notch, and the new location finally has space to grow! Their Apple fritter is the business! While I don’t love super sweet, loaded donuts, Bigfoot certainly has the most colourful exciting donuts around. If you are in the Neighbourhood, you would be silly not to stop in!
