Comfortable, casual atmosphere, the radio station playing in the background, with local artists creations on the walls. Steady stream of customers coming through the door. Food wasdelicious, my husband I shared a Panini & got small bowls of the daily homemade soup from scratch. Prices, I thought were reasonable. Liked the staff, atmosphere & food. Plan to go back again.

Picture This! Christmas Eve morning, I’m rushing to get out the door to put in a few hours at the shop. I missed breakfast ( which I always have). Stop in the Hub to pickup a bite. I was the first one in the shop and the first staff had just opened the door. Asked her to make me something. I said you decide. Created the best breakfast bagel I have ever had. You in the Comox valley, you got to make the Hub a stop on your list.

My go-to choice for downtown Courtenay cafes. The seating is comfy, great tea selection, properly prepared matcha, best coffee in town by a long shot, warm and friendly staff, fast and high quality food, amazing rotating artists on the walls, and outgoing regulars to round out the welcoming, friendly vibe.

Such a great vibe! Amazing food. Quite possibly one of the most creative delicious gluten free dairy free breakfasts I’ve had in downtown Courtenay!

Food is absolutely amazing. Excellent service. Very friendly and warm staff and management. Home made food prepared consciously. I never write reviews cause I am lazy about this kind of stuff but the HUB deserves 5 stars +.
