Wow! Wow! Wow! The BEST breakfast I've ever had! The chunky hashbrowns were seasoned perfectly. The sausage flavorful and not greasy. The eggs cooked to perfection. And the homemade jam! 😋
I had the Plates breakfast- 2 eggs, hash browns and toast with a choice of meat. My husband had the Half serving of the All in -2 pancakes, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast. All fueled up and ready for the day.
Cheerful & efficient service. Piping hot, robust coffee too!
Not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. We’ve travelled the world and eaten at Michelin Star restaurants and I rate this place high. Loved the ambience (typical clientele for island life), food and service were all exceptional!! We didn’t take any photos but it was a typical diner style restaurant. The food was home cooked and they even make their own jam. (A simple concept). We will be back next time we’re in town.

Fantastic breakfast for diner style atmosphere and food. Good quality. I had the veggie Omelette and it was stuffed with veggies. Came with hashbrowns cooked perfectly and seasoned well and side of toast with homemade jam. Service was also excellent. Hardworking and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back again and again.

I’ve only ever had great experiences at plates. Very small town feel with big city quality. I haven’t tried dinner items so I can’t speak on that but their breakfast and brunch is fantastic. They always make my special order right and it tastes great everytime!
If shredded hash brown was added to the menu, it would be beyond perfect.
