New Pacific Supermarket is a great place to buy Asian groceries. They have a stall for Chinese BBQ and live fish for sale. The typical Asian snacks are also available. The store is a bit rough around the edges and could use a remodel, but overall it's a great place to shop.
This place has lots of different foods stuff for all. Any cuisine you want, the ingredients are on their fully stocked aisles.
It’s a great Asian supermarket. Fresh fruits and veggies and some specialty Asian/Chinese food can be found here. I find the price for fresh vegetables are a bit cheaper than TNT.
Nice people here. Good location and price for quality.
Finn says hi to Butter :)
A good alternative to T&T. Not as crowded but the parking is on the roof and the store is on the first floor. There is parking in front at ground level but it's $4. They always have an ad in the Tri-City news so you could see what's on sale.
Great supermarket for fruits and vegetables. I find their vegetables pretty fresh compared to T&T. Their fruits can be pricey but pretty good quality. Small selection of snacks, etc but has a good selection for seasoning and dry noodles.
Not sure why the reviews are so low, this little supermarket was excellent! They had way more selection than I had assumed from first glance. The selection of produce was cheaper than other stores and was great quality. In particular, the Chinese leafy greens (choy) seemed super fresh.
In addition to your regular produce and Asian market goods they had fresh seafood, meats, Chinese BBQ, hotpot stuff, etc.
I got a nice hotpot pot from here for $17.99 compared to $25+ or even more on Amazon.
Checkout was quick and the lady was pleasant. I feel good supporting this local spot compared to big box stores.
Tucked between the always empty karaoke bar and the questionable Korean bakery is this gem of an independent shop. Frozen dumplings and wontons of every variety are handmade by Mandarin speaking old ladies who glance suspiciously at everyone who opens the freezer door. Better come with an idea of your order as customer service is non existent. That said, the dumplings are excellent and the wontons aren't too bad either. Solid choice for dumplings!
This store is a small, owner operated operation that specializes in crafted dumplings, and hand made noodles. The quality is incredible, and the prices are very low. The dumplings are quick-frozen, and reconstitute well, but if You arrive when the fresh products are being made, You can talk the owner into selling You a couple of packages. Fantastic value, and worth the trip.
For a smaller store you will find a surprisingly good variety of very fresh produce and a number of Asian specialty food products, mostly focused on Chinese cooking, but with a decent selection of other items like Japanese snack foods and drinks, as well as Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese products. Not as big as T&T but I often find I have a better selection of things that are a little beyond the normal staples. Good BBQ Pork, etc is available as well.
Bumping to five stars as they do cater to request for a single root of ginger of two inches and all the while the cashier from the five items or less customer service counter makes sure the regular checkout cashier is informed not to charge for the open bag price. Local and personalized service at least this time around. Hunt for bargains on guava and other seasonal fruits and you'll be pleasantly surprised at this place' offerings on more than one occasion.
Nicely laid out Asian supermarket. Lots of fresh fruit and produce, meat department and seafood together with snacks and other foods. An interesting mix of Chinese and Korean food items. Lots of things we haven't seen before including blueberry Pocky from Korea. Neat place to visit.
A decent Chinese super market. The employees are friendly however they lack English proficiency. Similar to TnT but have way better quality on vegetables most of the time. Sometimes they have awesome fresh seafood deals.
