Food is great. New management has really changed things up and with new kitchen staff food quality has gone way up. Very pleased! Would recommend it!
Food was pretty standard for a grill, but considering I was with my family in a group of 8 and there was only one server also acting as hostess/bartender, we had pretty good service. She was very friendly and attentive to all my family's 'demands' (it was a birthday) and she spoke kindly and did everything with a smile. It wasn't busy in there at all but considering she was the only one up front I was happy with the service we received.
A surprise gem right near home at the top of the mountain. My wife received a voucher for a $39 family feast and decided to give it a shot. We figured this would be just a simple little cafe with sandwiches etc but it is so much more! They have nice new tv's all around, a large fireplace and certainly one of the best views of the lower mainland from their sweeping patio and all glass walls. (only better views would be the lodge at Grouse)
The Canucks game was on so they also had a large projector screen as well! And then the food, it was great! The salads were nice and fresh, we ordered two medium pizza's which were delicious, hot fresh with a crispy crust. We also got a couple of pastas on the side and they were also very good, the shimp in the one was cooked perfectly, the pasta was cooked just right. Service was also top notch, no problem tipping 20% or better. All in all, likely to be one of our new favorite places in the tri-cities. We will be returning this weekend to try the Shnitzel that i was told is "the best" and likely back for many hockey games. See for yourself.
