my favorite sushi restaurant in Coquitlem. They have very unique dishes you can not have in normal sushi restaurant. I can eat there food anytime a day

I had a business meeting this evening and we decided to discuss business over sushi. The closest place for us to visit was Hanana Sushi. Although we felt a little nervous when we walked in and there was nobody else in the restaurant, within a few minutes there were four other tables full of people.
I asked if they could make a spicy tuna and salmon sashimi donburi and without hesitation the server said no problem. Good call! The tuna was excellent. Although the pieces of the sashimi were cut much smaller than other places, they tasted great. Spicy but not mouth-melting spicy.
We shared the Tiger Roll was full of flavour. I like the fact that the rolls at Hanano are a nice size- not massive. We also shared the Wine Tube Roll. It was similar ingredients to the Tiger Roll but it was wrapped in a very thin layer of roast beef.
My business acquaintance had the California Roll. I tasted a piece of it and I was impressed with the way it was rolled and the fresh flavours.
Overall, I very much enjoyed our dinner at Hanano and I will definitely be returning. I have no hesitation recommending Hanano Sushi.

Hanano is a go. My favorite sushi place in the area. Decent value honest food. Rolls are quite nice, seems to be a family run place . Can get busy and or slow service can be a issue. Take out offered. The beef yakisoba is very nice. Tempura dishes always really nice too. Fresh .nice place.
Great sushi restaurant! I really like that they don't stuff all the rolls with California stuffing awesome! My favs are Alaska roll, tropical roll, and salmon cream cheese roll, all great value! And you can ask to sub wild salmon in the rolls even better!

Best Sushi EVER!!!!. I am an usual costomer for 4 years now here at Hanano and they never dissapointed me. The food is always fresh and reasonably priced.
The kitchen gives out free special appt for us to try.

Excellent restaurant. Great food.. Every visit at Hanano has been a pleasure for the freshness and tastiness of the food as well as the creativity of the chef. We have gone in small and large groups and it has always been great. I can only wish there was a Hanano in Victoria too!
Very friendly place and they will often surprise you with an extra dish to try at no charge.
This place and Fuji across the street have each their own style and both deserve frequent visits. I can only wish for similar positive competition for creative and quality sushi here in Victoria.
