Neptune Chinese Kitchen recently opened at Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam. There are currently 12 restaurants under the Neptune Restaurant Group. You’ll notice they have expanded quite quickly in the last few years. You’ll find an array of Chinese dishes here from dim sum, noodles, to their seafood specialties.
Neptune Chinese Kitchen 鳳鳴粥麵 has been opened a little under a year now at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam on United Boulevard. The restaurant is spacious, baby friendly, bright but a little out of the way from city center. It is usually pretty quiet (something I quite enjoy). The staff are friendly and welcoming. It has become one of our go to restaurants for a quick bite.
When my friend and I visited der Neptune Chinese Kitchen at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam for the first time, we originally wanted to go to the buffet at the casino. But since it was not appealing to us we went to that place. Since then we have been there several times. The advantage is that due to his hidden location not many people go there. So it has been almost always quite empty, which is pretty relaxing. The food we ate there was always good. And the prices are reasonably. We certainly will go to that restaurant again
Had a pleasant dinner experience at this Neptune location. The staff were friendly and the chef came out to chat with us. There was a good variety of dishes and with the exception of one dish we liked everything we tried.
I would like to try dim sum at this location in the future. The restuarant is airy and bright with a nice atmosphere.
Very nice place. Convenient to the casino and very comfortable seats. Food was pretty good and staff was friendly. Will return.

Very friendly, clean restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and great service. The lunch menu is well priced and the service is quick. Everyone up front speaks English and is professional as well as mild mannered. The food is tasty and wouldn't hesitate coming back again and again. The extensive dinner menu is a little more pricier, but is well worth it. Yum!!
Very clean, and spacious dining environment. Came in with my husband and child in a stroller and there was plenty of room to place the stroller next to our table. Service was efficient despite them looking a bit understaffed (2 waiters and 1 manager for a fairly large dining room). We got the braised beef hotpot, half a bbq duck, and Sichuan hotpot with scallops, eggplant and tofu. Everything tasted great and portions were good. Dishes in avg were probably $2-$3 pricier than other restaurants in the area, but for the cleanliness and environment (really important if you have kids!) I didn’t mind at all. Bill came to $66 for three dishes, two bowls of rice and free dessert. We will definitely be back!
Fast efficient service. Reasonable prices. We didn't take advantage of the extensive menu. I just had dry noodles with shrimp wonton. They were plump and juicy and very tasty. My friend had the BBQ duck with rice very generous portion he said it was perfect. Then we attended the Foreigner concert. A perfect night out.
