The place is packed! It's always full. I always wanted to visit this place since they opened and now I'm finally here!
Very tasty! Will be coming here again now that we’ve finally found it!
So happy to see a Japanese restaurant specializing in noodles in Coquitlam. :D Been there twice already and the food was awesome. :) :) I don't eat fish but my bro says the sashimi is amazing. Totally recommend. :) :) :) <3 <3
Best Ramen in town. Very relaxing atmosphere and great service. Sapporo Seafood Ramen is my favourite!
Rainy Thursday afternoon..a bowl of hot ramen would be comforting. It's already past 1:30pm and there's still a line up here so I put down my name on the white board and waited for about 10 minutes until the waitress called my name. The restaurant is tiny and crowded and it felt like I was in Japan (chefs were speaking in Japanese too). As soon as I sat down I quickly glimpse the menu although I already knew what to order, the Cha-ku ramen. It only took like 5 minutes and the ramen was served in front of me. Soup looked fairly greasy but the layer of fat also trapped the heat of the soup. Generous amount of chasiu and the braised pork belly was surprisingly good. Though I think if I order just the kakuni ramen I might get a heart attack afterwards lol. Highly recommended.
A while back, David was planning to start a foodie blog, where he/we would photograph and review restaurants we tried. We took photos for a while of new places we went, but neither of us ever ended up using them or writing anything. Which is unfortunate, because that was years ago, and if we had kept it up, we'd have an impressive array of reviews because we have tried tons of new places over the past couple of years.
Very good ramen, priced fairly, busy location with only a few tables and not enough staff. Recommend going but be prepared to wait. Very humid inside aswell.
Decent ramen but nothing special. The price was ok. Flavour was fine. Service was ok. Very busy restaurant when I went on a Saturday. I will try another ramen place next time.
Had lunch with mom at this Ramen place...1st time came..surprisedly taste pretty good...will come back again try different Ramen...this time mom had seafood ramen with miso base...and myself had Deluxe Ramen with salt base...😏 I would say is best place to go for 5mins drive from home rather then drive an hour to downtown for Ramen😌
I've been hearing about this place for while and finally tried their ramen!
I had miso Tsuke men, and I loved their noodle, I like it thick :)
Unfortunately, dipping soup was bit salty.
I would come back and try other ramen!
Best place to go if you want to eat ramen but don't want to drive all the way to Vancouver when you are in Coquitlam area ;)
Prices are pretty good compared to ramen downtown but overall it doesn't really stand out. I got the spicy Chashu Ramen which had a Tonkotsu broth (I ordered "normal" broth). Although the broth tasted pretty good, it was overpowered by the taste of beansprout. The chashu was also quite lean and a tad hard to bite.
I got the cha shu ramen, raw salmon don, yam rolls, and a salad. The food was nice but nothing special. The service was not that good (they were not rude, but weren't very good at serving...). The prices are okay.
Raymond's Sushi Adventures
+3.5
Nonetheless, the Red Mountain Roll, a California Roll with cream cheese inside and spicy salmon top, was a nice blend of flavours. The spicy salmon had a bold kick, and the buttery flavour of the salmon complemented the creaminess of the cream cheese, which was conservatively used
Best ramen I've had in the coquitlam center area. I don't know about their other dishes though. I had the kakuni ramen combo. Spice level 3 was quite hot! Definitely worth a try.
Didnt know there is a new ramen place at henderson mall until now.
Went for lunch and it was a cozy restaurant with several tables.
Had the pork belly ramen and cha shu ramen, thought pork belly was very flavourful while cha shu was a bit bland.
The broth was also slightly bland.
Excellent prices though, $9 for a big bowl of ramen.
Attentive service
This was my first time being here. My friend recommended this place for me because I love Japanese food. Their tamago was handmade by chef pretty awesome. I don't enjoy fish, but their sashimi was really fresh. Try their Sho bu Don with chef's speciality sauce, it caught my eyes it had lettuce and Tonkatsu on top it was overall very good. You can adjust the spicyness it was pretty cool.
I had been here twice and today I tried their ramen combo and it was.... SPECTACULAR!! Their Sp Kakuni Ramen and side of a mini Cha shu Don was rocking! Reasonable price And good service, all nice. I truly recommend this place if you don't want to go all the way to Vancouver for Jap Ramen. They made my Night👍
