Review Fatburger - Coquitlam

We came in to this location late, just 15 minutes before they close, and the person who took our order was amazing, very big beautiful smile, and welcome. The food was made very fresh and delicious. Thank you store owner, and thank you Rebeca. Amazing service and positive energy to the last minutes.

The food is as awesome as the people who work here. Super friendly and helpful. I rather spend my money here than other fast food joints.

Surprisingly, for a fast food-type place, the service was good, very nice. Food was "fast food" BUT tasty and done nice. The onion rings were under cooked, yikky. Burger was tasty and hot. Fries are decent, gravy real good. Thank you!

Good juicy burgers. Friendly staffs and the dining area was clean and nice. It was easy to find parking as well with Tesla supercharger right outside.

For the price this burger is darn good. Service and food was excellent. Perfect for someone who is looking for something more than the regular fast food joint. This restaurant exceeded my expectations for value and quality.

You guys need to cook your bacon thoroughly. This bacon is NOT cooked. I didn't have time to bring it back, I'm on lunch at work. Do better please.

The staff at this location is amazing! So friendly, so helpful! The fries were delicious. The impossible burger I ordered was perfectly assembled. And the Oreo shake was just the perfect touch to the combo 👌🏻

Super busy when we arrived. Order was taken quickly and delivered to our table fast. Having been to other Fatburgers, we were really expecting to wait longer. Did forget our shake, but fixed it immediately. Staff were super friendly. Food was fantastic.

I had the Bacon Cheddar burger, unfortunately it came with traces mayo on it (I had requested none). They were wonderful about it and promptly remade my burger without question. They also offered me something to tide me over while I waited. The staff were very polite and courteous. They were well informed about Fatburger and could tell you about locations across the world. Great service, fabulous food. Our family fave!

The burgers are great, but in some cases they price them too high (up to 10$). The iced cappuccino should have been called 'ice with cappuccino' and there was a lot of salt in the food. Wasn't the best of times at a restaurant, but I'll know what to look for next time so I'm willing to try it again.

I have a huge weakness for fries and my boyfriend raved before about their curly fries. We had some time to kill before watching a matinee, so decided to stop by for a bite.<br/><br/>We got the curly fries with garlic pepper seasoning. Loved them. I'm not the biggest burger fan, and also wasn't super hungry... so I got the Baby Fatburger with Cheese and my boyfriend got the Mushroom Swiss. Our burgers were good, but nothing spectacular. They were quite satisfying though!<br/><br/>The restaurant itself was very clean. Wasn't that busy when we went, so that could've also been why too as tables got quite cleared/cleaned quickly. Just read another review about the bathroom... glad I didn't need to use it when we went! Lol

Stopped in for a burger today! Should have went into men's washroom first! Disgusting! Dried Feces all over the toilet! Urine on the floor, toilet paper and paper towel strewn about. Place hadn't been cleaned in hours. Told female manager who seemed Unfazed! I called after, same manager said it never happened before and they check every 15 minutes! I sat near the hall where washroom is and never saw anyone head to washrooms to inspect them! She said she didn't care if I complain since they own the store! I told her I would never go back to any Fatburger! She stated she didn't care!

Awesome Fast Food Experience.. Two days ago I went there for lunch at the Coquitlam branch with The WifeTM. We had never been to one before this visit. <br/><br/>The place was bright, clean, and the staff were friendly. The food was amazing! The burgers were juicy and fresh and the chips were perfect: crisp but not overdone. <br/><br/>The burgers took several minutes to be made but that's because the patties aren't pre-cooked. I don't mind waiting a little for something that will be fresh. I also found the price on the high side but but once again I didn't mind because it was a wonderfully made meal and was a great fast food experience.

Go to red robin instead. After eating at Red Robins for years and finally trying fat burger, I was disappointed and glad I did not try it sooner. The patty tastes and looks like a McDonald patty, burger buns are cheap and the taste is even worse. Definitely not coming back!

Veg burger. Veggie burger isn't the worst around, but not something I would come back for and pay about 8 bucks for with no sides. It tasted rather processed consisting of fillers and was just of a meager quantity. Also the fries are fried with the same oil as the chicken and everything else, so not veg-friendly. Restaurant itself is okay with a range of seating, but you cannot escape screens ...they're everywhere. Some people like that. Just not me. I thought the service was actually excellent and the washroom was spotless.

Moldy+raw. I went to fatburger this past saturday expecting something healthier and better made than other places as my husband and i were super busy , and hadnt fed our daughter in a few hours. We were seated with a menu even though it was busy, then my husband went up and ordered two chicken burgers ( mine was the crispy one ) and a chicken strip meal for our daughter. By the time we got our meal it had been 14 minutes , ( we had been told it would be 8 ) The food was juicy , very hot , but about halfway through I noticed that the chicken was pink all the way through , then I told my husband and he looked at his and there was a large bit of mold in the centre of his bun. The chicken strips were pink too, but thankfully she had not eaten any yet. We brought it up to the manager ( an older indian man ) and asked for our money back , and he offered us replacement meals instead. It was difficult to get a refund. <br/><br/>sidenote: we noticed that the employees looked drained and unhappy. They looked like they were forced labour.

First Time. Dropped into Fatburger to try them out for the first time last week. My friend and I each got the Mushroom Swiss Burger combos. We were given a number and told that our freshly made burgers would be delivered to our table in 7 to 8 minutes. We grabbed sodas from the fountain and found a table in the back. Only a couple of tables were in use at that time, (it was late). Our burgers & fries arrived. <br/><br/>The beef in the burgers was very tasty and stood on its own. The Swiss & Mushroom toppings were tasty and generous, and the burger had a half wrap around it to prevent dripping.<br/><br/>We were both impressed at the quality of the food and the friendly servers. We will be back!<br/><br/>ps: Please get the lock on the men's room fixed so that it won't unlock the second someone checks the door.

This burger joint is disappointing to say the least. The fatburger with cheddar/onion ring (yes only one ring was in there) tastes average, the meat is loose (yah gross), the relish is overwhelming and the bun does not feel fresh. <br/>Seating is cramped and the service is so so. <br/>Prices are not justifiable and the value proposition is lacking.

Overpriced and overrated. I can't remember the last time had a burger that was so tasteless. If you want to enjoy a tasty, reasonably priced burger, stick to the tried and true Red Robin. I would not recommend this restaurant at all!

I love Fatburger , the staff are always friendly and happy the food is the best , it's so clean in there I could eat off the floor . So for that person who said they had a bad experience the restaurant had just opened its crazy busy and I thought the staff did a great job.

The service was so bad we couldn't even stay for the food. So my family friends and I decided to check out Fatburger grand opening next to Ikea today - BIG MISTAKE. It was pretty packed in there, but not ridiculous and there were scattered seats everywhere still. We sat down at a booth and were discussing what to get when a manager walked by and told us "you must order before sitting down." We were confused not only by the content of her message but her attitude as well (she walked away casually), so we carried on discussing what to get from the menu. As I was lining up about to order, my family friends came to me and said the manger went back to the table again and "forced" them to give it up because we didn't have food on the table!? What the heck is going on here? What kinda seating system / service is this? for a burger joint? IT'S A FAST FOOD restaurant for god's sake, and there are way better burgers out there IMO. Fatburger Coquitlam, with your horrible lady manager kicking out customers trying to give you business - good luck!

Fatburger has been expanding noticeably and one recently opened in October close to Coquitlam Ikea. It was quite a busy night, with lots of customers dining in as well as a good lineup for takeouts. It can only be described as an upscale fast-food joint, with bar seats by the window which had its own TV, and some cushy booths. After we placed our orders at the counter, we took our number, filled up our drinks and grabbed a seat. You get a choice of all your usual soft drinks under the Coca Cola family plus lemonade. The burgers are made to order and you can see it happening through their open kitchen. We were told to expect about a 15 minutes wait which was an accurate estimate. The other thing that makes Fatburger upscale, aside from its price, is that a server came by to see if we liked the food, royal treatm

Fatburger “The Last Great Hamburger Stand!”. Really? The name suggests that it would be delicious. Mouth watering. Was it? The patty are decent but definitely does not live up to the Best Burger around. I beg to differ. In fact I find my Whopper Wednesday’s to be exceptional also.

Overall, I thought Fatburger was a great addition to what used to be a car lot for Chevy. However, it is quite hard to get into if you are travelling westbound. You would have to get in from the rear private road instead of Lougheed Highway. And with McDonalds next to it, I think they’ll be a great competition. The service was nice and I was impressed that even though the staff were new, the manager still walked around making sure they were doing everything just right (eg. the burger should be facing the customer when it arrives at the table). Prices, it ain’t cheap to eat at Fatburger. Considering McDonalds prices, you pay a few dollars for a custom made burger.
