Copa Cafe is my go to place for hongkong style food. I love the portion size however I wish a warm drink was included like it is at M Cafe down the street. Flavour is good.
Came here for their mini set meals. Ordered a baked pork chop rice and hot milk tea. Food was great and decent sized portion. Prompt service.
I came to Copa Hong Kong Cafe for lunch with my parent. It was around 12:30pm. I thought the restaurant must be packed and we had to wait for a long time. But we didn't have to wait. We were lucky to get a table right away.
The menu has a wide variety of food from western fusion styles to Asian ones. I ordered a dish of fried kiteow in Hong Kong style and my mom ordered a dish of assorted meat fried rice vermicelli with spicy shrimp paste from the mini menu. The dishes were not mini at all. We had to pack half of each of our dishes home. The food also came with a drink, so my mom ordered a cup of hot lemon water and I ordered a cup of coffee and milk tea mix (ying yang).
The food and drinks tasted great. The prices were 50 cents more than other HK cafes but the portions were bigger. We could use a Copa VIP card to collect points. The service was good. Waitresses and waiters were very efficient and took care of the customers properly.
Copa in Coquitlam has been renovated since early summer. The environment and interior design are better than before. Tables are bigger and chairs are more comfortable. I know this branch will have a competition with M Cafe and Deer Lake Garden HK cafe that is very close by. Copa needs to maintain a good quality on food and customer service in order to stay competitive with other HK cafes.
I would come back for lunch in the near future.
I only come here for breakfast on Sundays (before 11:30). It's pretty normal HK style breakfast. Sometimes I get the rib eye steak or chicken steak with eggs cooked over easy. When I'm not that hungry, i'll get bacon with eggs. It's hard to mess up so it's aways decent here. The service is alright, it's usually pretty busy because of the time I come here. However, I do come almost every Sunday so that also says something.
Much better service than the cambie location. Staff are more attentive. Food moves quick.
Ummmmm no choices in this area but this one is the best here
Very friendly place. Recommend anyone to go. Good food good price
Lunch/Dinner. This place is a Gem and convienently located nearby Coquitlam Centre. Their baked rice dishes, noodles and soup, stir fries, are so much like the English style Cafes in HK. Load up on some good food here Before you hit Coquitlam Centre!
Comparable to any HK cafe.... I eat here at least twice a week. Their service is great and food is consistent.
I've eaten at alot of HK cafe's in richmond, and even in HK. Copa Cafe never disappoints me. However keep in mind I never eat dinner here.
Their breakfast menu is an absolute steal, as well as their mini set menus.
Great food with lots of variety!. I have been going to this place with my girlfriend for dinner once a week and everytime we try a new dish. So far, every dish we have ordered has been excellent in taste, quality and the portions are of good size! We always order the borscht soup to start and it's one of the best soups I've ever had. The price is good for this type of food and it's open later than most other restaurants around here. Definately one of the better places in this area.
Copa cafe is another one in a million HK style cafe in Greater Vancouver, and it’s just so happen to be relatively close to where I use to live, so I eat there quite often. They also have another location on Cambie, which I heard it’s exactly the same. On
This is Hong Kong style fusion restaurant. The selection is quite good for anything from appetizers, steak and fries, to noodles, rice, soup, combos and beverages.
There's Western style combo that comes with soup, main and drink & Asian style combo comes with Chinese soup, main and rice, no drink. You may think the price is on the high side but you won't disappoint by the portion.
Service is not bad but when is not busy. They are not dial in.
They charge $0.50 per take out container that I have no complaint to support the environmental recycling.
nice place to eat at! it's just i wasn't allowed to get a kids menu when
i wanted something from it because they said i was way too old for it but i really wanted those chicken strips and fries. dw i ended up stealing some from my brother :')
Affordable and tasty classic Hong Kong style breakfast is the highlight of Copa for me. Generous portions & reasonable prices. Consistent quality. One of the few places near coquitlam and surrey where you can get good HK style breakfast which has always been a favourite of mine growing up as a kid. Service is par for the course, it isn't bad perse, but it's what you'd expect from a HK joint, efficient & right to business.
Must tries here are the breakfast (very busy on weekends), specifically the rice noodles (mai sin) with satay beef and their French toast western combos.
Good Hong Kong food. Portion sizes are big. Highly suggest for big groups for casual dinner. Food is kind of addicting. Bought the points card for $15

My go to Hong Kong style diner, food and service is very good. I would come here again but It’s in a small plaza with busy traffic so I’d be careful when parking.
