Review Creekside Coffee Factory - Coquitlam

Their coffee has a delightful aroma and perfect acidity for me. The atmosphere inside the cafe is so cozy and beautiful. Highly recommend to go visit!

The ambience is very nice and the coffee is roasted in house, super fresh! We found it very quiet in a good way. Quiet enough to have a comfortable conversation. I had their Italian panini and it was delicious! There wasn't an overload of sauce, and had the right amount of meat. Definitely a wonderful discovery.

First visit and already can't wait to go back!! I had their turkey sandwich. It was served fresh and hot! Creamy cheesy, turkey goodness, flavourful and well seasoned and not too crunchy which is always important when eating a toasted sandwich! For a coffee I had their flat white. They had a really nice roast that they used, rich and smooth, low acidity. I will definitely be back for this flat white! Lastly, I tried the addiction bar. I'm not sure I'm addicted but I really enjoyed it! It has a mix of tree nuts, coconut, chocolate, in bar form. It wasn't too sweet, had a great mixture of textures! I'll be back, there's plenty more I would like to try! The staff were friendly, the coffee and food great and I loved the cabin feel. It'll be a fall and winter hang out to pass COVID winter round two.

Prepare to be welcomed by a swift smell of insanely good, strong smelling roasted coffee beans when you walk in. Gotta love that smell especially in the morning of cold rainy day. This place has that cozy, cabin feel and has quite few seats available on a regular day. Only few seats are available atm though due to Covid's social distancing protocol. The servers here are also super friendly and nice, but that's the only thing that stands out for us. We ordered a latte and cappuccino and we both agreed that both drinks had very faint coffee taste and rather taste more like just hot milk. Food-wise they have the usual offerings of muffins, wraps, sandwiches, bars and the likes, and what looks like some crostata from Gabi&Jules handmade pies if you've ever been there. The one thing that they do right here is how they warm up the food. Some places would just nuke them in the microwave and things get soggy and gross. At least they prepare your order correctly so the wrap that we got is properly pressed and the crostata keeps their crisp exterior which makes a huge difference. We'll prob be back again if we're in the area since there aren't many other coffee shops available around that block and service is awesome. But if we could, we prefer other shops that are few blocks away in Coquitlam

Aug ‘21 UPDATE: Haven’t been back here for almost a year. Coffee, pastries and service are just as good as the last time. Oct ‘20 - Found this hidden gem while visiting Coquitlam. Medium roast coffee was bold and not overly acidic. Toasted blueberry scone had a nice crispy topping. Their ginger scone is also amazing. Staff are friendly and all CoVid safety protocols are in place. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Coquitlam.

Nice coffee and muffins, but mocha is a bit too sweet. All in all, the environment is cosy to relax and chat. Will come back

My favourite coffee shop in Coquitlam. the baristas are always friendly and welcoming. I appreciate that they take extra care to ensure my decaf americano is always poured correctly with perfectly timed espresso shots so it's balanced and not bitter.

Although the staff are great and the coffee is super tasty, almost every time I go, they are out of drip coffee! Such a simple resolution, get another carafe, problem solved! I almost don’t want to visit any longer because it happens so often….

Fantastic little gem of a coffee shop we found for our Saturday morning ritual of trying a new coffee place in Metro Vancouver.

Amazing customer service. The coffee is OK - for those who appreciate a good espresso, it’s not fantastic. It smells a bit caramel, light bodied, a little bit too bitter.
Millie Trinidad
Great freshly roasted coffee and wonderful atmosphere! Their dewdrip has a real caffeine kick - try it hot or cold, delicious both ways.

Good coffee, nice staff, good athmosphere but no sandwich or muffin etc. At least not a big choice....I am having what I found on display. Tough luck :) But this is a place I'll come back.

Great coffee, extremely welcoming and cozy environment, friendly and loving staff. My go-to every time!! Never fails me

Creekside is my favourite office away from the office! The staff is always friendly, courteous and eager to make me feel welcome!

Nice independent coffee shop but cake availability is sporadic :-( And when carrot cake is available it's only a 6 out of 10... Slice should be bigger, moister, and with deeper frosting...

I came here a couple times with a buddy because he said it was great coffee with a great atmosphere so I stopped in to do some work for a few hours and I've decided it'll be my permanent work station. The service and super down-to-earth and friendly baristas are amazing! The food being delicious was a nice bonus! Love you guys!!

Bought a bag of fresh roasted beans and was not disappointed! So good, can't wait to get more.

Your coffee is roasted to the soothing sounds of classical guitar. Best coffee house in Tri Cities. Pastry selection is middle of the road quality.

Creekside Coffee Factory is one of the best coffee shops in Coquitlam. It is very authentic like some local coffee shops in Vancouver.

The interior design gives you a home sweet home feeling. A few big stuffed animals (two big bears and one big wolf) were sitting at the entrance and welcoming the customers. They were very cute!! Customers could grab them and sit with them at their tables.

I ordered my favourite latte. The taste and flavour were great! I am glad that I could find this coffee shop in Coquitlam. It is better than Timmys and Starbucks.

I would definitely like to visit this coffee shop again. 😋

Best coffee in the Tri - Cities. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable. Been going there for four years and have yet to be disappointed.

It was a delight to find the comfy arm charts and sofa and nice decor - it’s a nice vibe in there. I hosted a meetup group there called Reflection Cafe, which is a place for folks with and without developmental disabilities to connect and share their days with one another — the cafe was really nice for that. The Barista’s were friendly and engaged with everyone in the group. There was one moment where Ben, someone from our group, asked to keep a teddybear that they have there and the staff was relaxed and joked with Ben about it which was great - inclusive place. Thanks to Jay and his team! We will be back for sure~!

Excellent, friendly service in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. This quaint little coffee shop is one of coquitlam's hidden gems.

The dew-drip coffee is savory and brewed on a daily basis. I highly recommend ordering this while you can.

Great place to study, with recently renovated bar setting with plugs.

Truly, this place is a diamond in the rough.

Cozy atmosphere and really nice decor. Makes you want to just snuggle up and grab a coffee! Wish they had some cheaper food options though. Also kind of out of the way if you don't have a car (not by any bus stops)

Let's just say that if I lived in the area, this would be my local. They would know me by name and memorize my order. First, the service was incredible, smiling and happy - plus not awkward with conversation. They had to brew a fresh batch of coffee (which was surprisingly incredible), and brought it out to us. Their carrot cake was delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy, like going to a friends place. Will definitely be back here! It's not overpriced...I think it's actually cheaper than Starbucks :) cheers!

Just became my top choice for a coffee shop. I just recently moved into the hood and happen to come upon this cute café by chance. I've been back 3 times already. It's got awesome coffee, eclectic decor, and friendly staff. Starbucks is fine sometimes, but you can't beat a great independent coffee shop.

Really good coffee. Even the drip is a standout! Nuff said.

One of my favorite places!. I love this place; I got nothing to complain about them. Friendly staff, great coffee, nice & cozy atmosphere, free wi-fi, clean washroom, live music etc. Some like their Affogato a lot. My personal favorite is definitely the dewdrip. If you're a true coffee lover, I urge you to try their dewdrip coffee.

Great coffee. I went to this coffee shop after I saw the great reviews. My Mom's pretty picky with coffee so the dewdrip coffee quickly became her fav. The atmosphere and coffee is great. We ordered hot dewdrip coffee, cheesecake, and cameral machiato. The coffee were pretty good. The only things that I would suggest is maybe display the actual coffee apparatus more than the ones in the packaging. I really love looking at those. Also, I would think more variety on the dessert and go easy on the butter for the cheesecake. All in all, I would love to visit that shop again.

Probably one of the best coffee places noone knows about. Try their dew drip coffee (cold water brew)

Top Coffee, Good conversation spot!. Wow, this place makes quality espresso drinks! Definitely superior to what I am used to in this neighbourhood & I hope they are here to stay!!! Creekside is also a Roastery, so that makes the beans and the drinks that much more clean tasting without compromising a nutty flavour which I really enjoy, depending on the beans of course. Lately, I have been enjoying having a cafe au lait/"misto" with their dew-drip coffee.
The cafe itself is also quite comfortable with inviting colours, nicely spaced tables+chairs and background music. The couple behind the counter are super nice!!
The baked offerings/drinks companions needs work in my opinion however. I truly like having something that matches the freshness of my brew.

Surprise. One day my friend and I were just walking around coquitlam, and we couldn't decide where to go to get food or coffee or whatever. Then we ran into this place. The coffee was good and affordable, and the scones were delicious. Though they did not have a huge variety of coffee, they had a pretty impressive set of things to add to coffee. Not to mention the atmosphere. They didn't go for a more modern look, and that's good. The chairs were comfortable. And it was a quiet and relaxing. Perfect place to grab a coffee and read a book, or to have a conversation with someone. I greatly enjoyed it.

Great coffee shop!!!!. If you are tired of consuming starbucks coffee ;;
It is time to try another one!!
Thus, I recommend CREEKSIDE COFFEE FACTORY'S coffee.
I have tried it several times and loved it. Although it does not have various kinds of coffees like starbucks, its taste and quality is way better.
Try it! and give me your comments!

Creekside Coffee Factory is a fantastic place to grab a hot drink to-go or sit down for long periods of time for chatting. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, and the drinks are delicious. I can definitely see myself meeting up with friends here in the colder months (and Ninja Bubble Tea in the summer...?).

It’s a gem of a coffee stop, and there’s a seat reserved for you … right next to the resident bear. Creekside Coffee Factory Creekside Coffee Factory is just what it says on the shop sign. It’s more than a run-of-the-mill café since the premises also house an in-store roaster. Using organic and fair trade beans, the store roasts and grinds its own coffee, meaning that a delicious aroma welcomes you when you stop by. Roasted beans are available for customers to purchase and take that wonderful coffee experience to sample at home. Creekside’s Facebook page lists medium, dark, decaf and Tanzanian bean roasts available though it’s probably wise to phone ahead

Taste wise, it was fairly average for the Cappuccino. The portion of milk to coffee was probably favouring on the side of milk, resulting in a rather weak-tasting coffee. Perhaps this would be a good drink to add some kind of flavour shot to.

The dewdrip, is their version of vacuum coffee. To best of my abilities to describe my experience, this cup of coffee is fragrant in a very subtle way.

Creekside Coffee Factory is located in Coquitlam in a small plaza area. They are proud to be serving the freshest coffee possible. They even roast the beans in-house. CoffeeGuy introduced me to this place and told me there was a cafe with a happy Korean man roasting beans, while playing the guitar. I love independent coffee shops because you can really feel their passion for what they do and putting a smile on customers faces. Since M’s relatives from Korea love coffee, it just seemed fitting to take them to a Korean owned cafe. You can even watch them roasting the beans. Unfortunately, when we took a visit, nothing was happening here. I wanted to see this machine in action. You can buy the beans too. Once you purchase it, they are prepared right after to maintain optimal freshness. The interior is quite nice and cozy. It’s a good place to sit and chat with friends. Or even just do some homework. There’s even free wifi and extra plugs for your devices. There are a few snacks a well. We
