Review Woody's Pub - Coquitlam

It was ok. Service was great! Haven’t been in ages. Wings are cheap for a reason I think. Standard Caesar, standard Caesar salad. Buttermilk chicken sandwich hit the spot. Keno!

5 stars! So I normally don't eat at pubs.. I just generally like restaurants but this place is close to my workplace. We went out for lunch and it was a great experience! The servers were so so nice, and the pizzas were pretty good. Apparently there are specials each day. I'm a vegetarian my staff said the chicken wings were great. I ordered a Benedict and they forgot my hash browns but ended up giving me a huge plate of it afterwards. I enjoyed the food and service, pleasantly surprised and I would recommend this place!

I was looking for a sports bar with sound and atmosphere that the televisions were not props and a distraction only. Woody's Pub had proven to be the right choice for the Tri-City area. What was great was the establishment was open at 10:00AM on Sunday morning for the opening season of Week One and a great breakfast was available to accompany the action on the many televisions that each television could be switched to any game or sport of your choice. There are very few establishments that can offer that option. I was particularly interested in the staff whether on the floor or in the kitchen been able to accomodate and deliver individual wants and needs. I had stayed for a second football game during which I had enjoyed a battered shrimp special and then a chicken wings special with some cold and fresh pints of house draft. I was tempted to stay for a steak dinner special but my stomach was so previously satisfied I thought a good exercise walk to the Braid Station Sky Train would be a good idea! As an update to my previous review, I had decided to visit Woody's Pub last Monday afternoon and evening where I was pleasantly surprised by a pizza special but of course began with two plates of hot wings as an appetizer while watching a live with sound Vancouver Canucks game on a big screen screen television. My personal opinion is that for the Tri-City area, this public house has proven to be a great sports bar, appetizer and food special place that has been consistent with offering a total experience as I am finding that many establishments in our neighbourhood have become lounge houses and have graduated into high price venues without improvement to the food quality, drink selection and overall performance especially to the regular customers who have continued to support these establishments during very difficult times for BOTH the customer and the venue but justify those increases without any consideration to those customers including my favourite rant about condiments subject to surcharges! My full support to Woody's Pub for their continued efforts to reflect upon the needs of the customer.

Hidden gem of Coquitlam. First visit but definitely won't be my last. Great food at great prices. Service was prompt friendly ad welcoming. Sara was personable and very attentive. Nice neighborhood pub feel. Glad we came to scope it out. Excited to try their breakfast!

Friday family gathering first time visit, glad to have the request to show my vaccine info shows me they care about their patrons. The food menu was extensive for a pub & the prime rib was mouth watering & not skimpy. The salmon & prawns & shrimp salad was one of the best & large & priced within range. Will definitely go back sooner than later.

The food is definitely worth it as far as pub food goes it's way better than your average pub food definitely check it out

Very friendly servers. We were directed to a table that was dirty and had not yet been cleaned. Went to another cleaned table instead and there were greasy hand marks on the booth chairs. Covid-19 cleaning protocols obviously not implemented here. Wings are 45 cents each on Wednesdays, frozen type quality but can't complain for the price you pay. Overall, a decent local pub.

We had a terrific time. It was a playoff NHL hockey pool draft night, and were seated in a private area. We all ate and kibitzed uninterrupted. The overall service, and atmosphere was fantastic. Super neighbourhood pub and terrific place to rendezvous with friends.

I was charged for requesting more salad dressing so I had enough for my salad. The waitress was inpersonal and did not check in on the quality of the food. The food was okay.

Was highly recommended by a friend his words were "Burgers are 10/10" i ordered the Signature Beef,Cheddar,Bacon Burger he definitely was 100% right it was moist,juicy and extremely delicious,the mountain of fries was a meal in itself service was friendly,attentive and very easy on the eyes (sorry not to offend anyone) i would highly recommended this place

Heard the owner yelling at the staff using explicit language; thus, Woody's will never get my business again. No one deserves to be verbally abused at work, ESPECIALLY by the boss.

Fun local pub! Decent live music on weekend nights! Kitchen shuts down at around 11 and they only serve pizza & chicken wings after which is dissapointing. Otherwise yummy belinis!!

It's a local pub, conveniently located near some of the local hotels. Lots of parking, a plus in an area that looks a little parking starved.<br/>The restaurant area is a large open space, mix of tables booths and high tops, cut into several distinct sections. Lots of lighter woods and glass, lots of TVs. While it lacks any specific personality, it's inviting enough.<br/>Staff were very friendly although not particularly efficient. When my friend and I arrived we were told we could sit anywhere we liked. The area we sat in was half full and we waited 10 minutes for service- at which point the waitress arrived and told us to move somewhere else because the section was closed. Huh.<br/>The menu is bar food - mix of burgers sandwiches and similar fare with a handful of entree offerings - it's a good selection. Plenty of beers on tap although the selection on a Sunday night seemed to lack for local options.<br/>The burgers were pretty good and the price was fair - about $45 tip and bar in for two. The service from the kitchen wasn't quick but they were probably staffed lightly for a Sunday evening.<br/><br/>Bottom line - it won't knock you out but it won't disappoint either. I'd come back here again.

Quality of food: 3-3.5<br/>Customer service: 4 (Sometimes they get the orders wrong.) <br/>Environment: 3 (Sometimes they don't clean the tables.) <br/><br/>You always need to wait a long time for the food to arrive. The food quality goes down when the place gets busy. It's a good sport pub for friends to hang out! I will go there for cheap wings and seafood on Sunday. <br/><br/>~ $15-25 per person (Alcohol included)

With all the hoopla going on in the American presidential election, it was only a matter of time before more of that came up north, and only a matter of time before someone thought to take advantage of it. And this is why we came to “Woody’s” today. They had a special menu to help you solidify your candidate choice via burger. Both are basically the same, one was full of baloney and puns, and the other spam and its own saucy play on words. We would soon get a taste of both.

can't really add more than the others have. great food with breasty waitresses. my favorite.  great football pool too. one of the only pubs i still go to.

I love this pub on Sundays 1/2  prices seafood.waitress are cute and friendly-the mussels are addictingsteaks are awesome..wings are a deal.beliniis are good in a sleeve.prices for 4 people 1/2 price with booze $50 or less is  awesome.the tacos are greatthe soda pop too much for $3order beer instead

Unfortunately they've recently raised the price to $.30 a wing and ten wings is definitely short of a pound but hey, 30 wings for $9 is still friggin awesome. Woody's is my go to wing joint. $.30 wings and $6 pints (you have to buy a drink to get the $.30 wing deal) is still an unbeatable deal. I walk in for 20 wings and a pint of old boy by parallel 49 on tap and walk out with just under $15 after tax and tip short and a full, satisfied and happy stomach. My favorite flavors are hot tossed (extra $.15 for tossed flavors) with a side of blue cheese sauce ($.50 per sauce on the side) and roasted red pepper and garlic dry rub and I ask for extra seasoning added. Mmmm... Wings.... Great place to watch sports. It's busy during Monday night and Sunday night football, any canucks games and playoff bball. TVs everywhere. Plus they do free prize give aways on canucks game nights. And there are plenty of seating but on game nights it may be hard to find a seat if you're with a larger party. It's not the nicest looking pub but if you're looking for a solid pub to be a regular at especially if you live close by, this is the one to go to.

Wings for $0.15 cents a wing... you can't go wrong with that and plus no matter how many I ate them for $0.15 the flavor packs just enough to keep me going back for these bad boys even if i'm trying to watch over my diet... the atmosphere is really good for sports. I usually went here when there's a basketball games. usually during a playoff and usuallly i ordered 3 pounds for my self. :)) and at the very minimum 2 pounds of wings + beer. the servers are really nice and friendly. Very attentive as well I'll say so will defnitely come back here whenever I'm craving for more wings and need to meet up with friends. I'll say that the flavors are in the strong end in most of them as they need to make it fast and in huge quantity.<br/>the juicyness and tenderness of the meat in most of the days are okay. defnitely okay in most days. but again you can't go wrong with $.15 wings on certain days :)

All of my friends rave about this place and I have been here a few times. For the most part Woody's seems like a pretty good pub with pretty good pub food. A few months back, however, my friends and I popped in for some brunch. We ordered our food and waited and waited and waited. When it finally arrived it was cold. The waitress had made some snarky comment about us ordering alcohol so early in the day, so none of us really wanted to comment on the food. The cheese on my grilled cheese was already hardened. It was disgusting and I couldn't finish it. Maybe it was just an off day for the kitchen or an off day for the server but ever since that experience, I am very weary of this place.

Super friendly service with great daily food specials. We try to drop into Woody's for wings and at 30 cents each from 3-5pm they are a great value. We also appreciate the selection of craft beers they have on tap. Today I tried the Stanley Park Sun Setter Peach Ale. It was a perfect beer for a hot afternoon. We will return and recommended.

I had the worst waitress her name is kelly she was so rude to me and my boyfriend gave us all drumettes with no wings at all.

Woodys for Wings. Great wings. And the service. Brittany was the best and went out of her way to make us welcome. She even cheerfully plugged my buddies phone in behind the bar.

I have been going to Woodys for many years now and rate their staff, service and food a 5 out of 5. We are a group of guys that go to Woodys at least twice a week and Woodys staff are the best in town. They always interact with our group in a friendly manner and make you feel at home. Thank you to all the Woodys staff for making our many nights fun and enjoyable. I really like their Thursday $10 steak special and daily wing specials, can't beat it. Have also had their seafood pasta and burgers and really enjoyed it. Daily beer specials are a great deal. Have also used their facility for fund raisers and meetings and have always had great service. Have been to a lot of pubs in my time and Woodys is by far the best in town.<br/>Thank you again to all the Woodys staff and Managment for taking care of us. The "Thursday Cigar Club" boys.

Great food better service. I went to Woody's Pub with a buddy and it instantly became my favourite place to go. Food is great with a wide selection of food to choose from. But what makes me come back all the time now is the friendly service. The girls at Woody's are the best I have ever experienced. I travel all the time with work and I am always eating out. This place takes the cake and is 5/5 in my books

Best pub in the lower mainland. I went to Woodys for the first time about a year ago when I moved into the area. The food is wonderful (the prime rib offered on Fridays is sooo good! Better than the keg as far as I'm concerned and only 17 bucks)... The service was awesome to! When ever I go all the servers always remember me by name and practically have my drink ready for me by the time I pick a seat. AWESOME PUB!

Awesome 30th. I reserved 40 seats for a 30th birthday party they were awesome. The server Brittany was fantastic she remembered everyone's name the whole evening and made it a good night even better. Food was good too and music was fun.

Overall great experience. There aren't many casual bars left that still have good food and efficient service, but Woodys continues to impress. Whether you want to catch a game or spend your weekend on the dancefloor there is constantly good entertainment and pleasant staff ready to make sure you have a good time.

Worst bar ever. If you hate fun go to woodys. The bouncers need a serious attitude check before you get in they very rudely tell you not to drink to much are there going to throw you out as if i'm a child then you get inside and they have no problem charging you for as many overpriced drinks as you want until your standing there on the dance floor not bothering anyone at all waiting for your girlfriend to come and get jiggy with it the bouncer comes up behind you and says you have to leave for no reason at all cause he thinks your to drunk and if you ask why they start pushing you out the door if you try and resist the throw you outside hold you down and stomp on your head and body and let you wonder off after. Woodys is the worst bar ever its a bar that dosen't want you you to drink isn't that why i'm going there in the first place i get it if im falling over or acting like a fool thats not ok but for the bouncer to just come up for no reason other than you look a little bit tipsy and push you out the front door is uncalled for and to throw you to the ground hold you and beat you is disgusting. My ankle my head and arms got all scrap and brusied but my ankle is really swollen and hurts a lot so ill post that as the pic down below if your curious enough to see the handy work of thugs.

Favorite pub in the coquitlam<br/>area, spinach & artichoke dip with veggies are so good.

Always a good time. Currently working at hard rock Vancouver me and about 50 works friends have had many parties here! We always have a great time. Love all the appetizers including mussels, spinach dip and flat breads. Daily specials are good too me and my boyfriend come for $10 ribs on Wednesdays <br/>I have also been here on hockey games they always do a great job with sports and they have tons of events with prizes on certain nights of the month

Seafood bonanza. I don’t think i have cooked dinner on a Sunday in months. Obsessed with seafood Sunday at Woodys. LOVE LOVE the crab legs and yummy mussels. Caesar’s go down way to easy and during football season it is the best place to be! Awesome fans make for a great Sunday funday!<br/>Yayyyy Woodys Great job on being an amazing local bar.

Best Pub. Can't even call it a pub... When you think of pub you think dive food and old school environment. Woodys is nothing like that its more of a bar/restaurant vibe that turns into a party place on the weekends with bands and DJ's<br/>One of the last pubs in Coquitlam you hear stories of people talking about their parents coming in the 30's to the woods. I love places like that! <br/>Amaze food including ribs on wed for under $10, Pizzas, Prime rib Fridays for $15 and steak sandwiches.<br/>five stars all the way!!!! if you haven’t been your missing out

Eat there very often! Not your everyday pub food! Has something for every craving healthy or not, spinach salad, wonton soup, steak sandwich and wings are my favorite! Cannot beat the price most on special starting at $9 daily

Always Good. I went to Woody's last Thursday Oct 17, 2013 for a beer and something to eat. I've always found the food there quite good with very few complaints. Because I had not been in many months I found the menu had changed and new items added. I had the scallop and prawn appie in a hollandaise suace. Friggen awesome! Fresh seafood and a sauce to die for along with 2 pieces of garlic toast. My buddy had the seafood linguine and he said it was very good. Thanks Woody's for keeping up the good food and service.

Mmmm. If you are looking for good pub food, woody's is the place. their wings are amazing, and their burgers are no slouch either. factoring in the price, and the quality, this place is a must visit.

Great Diverse Menu. Woody's is a great place to stop in and enjoy a great meal for a great price. The menu has so many options it is always hard to choose and the wing deal on Wednesdays is great. My personal favourite... the Scallop and Prawn bake is to die for!

Impressed. I've only been a few times, but am planning on going back more often. The value for the food is incredible! The staff seem very friendly, but are not overbearing and in your face. Its a nice relaxed environment for a cheap meal.

All around good!. Great specials, all the regular food is awesome true. Try the artichoke bread, you wont be disappointed!<br/>Good place to watch the game, meet up with friends, or hold an event!

A Solid Time... Every time.. No matter when I go to Woody's, I find that I am really satisfied. I am either getting good service from the cute girls at the liquor store, or at the pub having a real quality time. Woody's has a great atmosphere for all sporting events, and I regularly watch NHL, NFL, Soccer and UFC events there. You never need a menu, the daily special is always tasty, affordable, and straight up awesome.<br/><br/>Solid stuff Woody's.

Steal of the town is this sports bar! We tried all the specials they have amazing garlic butter $5 bunch crab legs, two flavours of salt and pepper and hot sauce 25cents wings, and big juicy charbroiled steak on a garlic toast. The food was delicious, but just takes a while to come.

Best Sports Bar in Town. When my friends and I want to watch a game we head for Woody's.<br/><br/>TV's everywhere, great service, huge selection of food and beverages at fantastic prices. The patrons are serious sports fans and the staff get into the sports action and garb too. The food and beverage specials are incedible deals, and their $0.20 wings just can't be beat. Thirty or so flavours too. <br/><br/>At night Woody's turns into a club with DJ's and live bands. It gets very loud and busy with a great mixed age crowd that always has lots of fun.That's why you go to Woody's in the first place.

Great food but wow... special people work here and they nickle and dime ya...<br/><br/>50 cents to have your wings tossed in sauce- call me naive but I thought that was included- at least it was last week...<br/><br/>The guy running food is clueless and has no idea what tables ordered what- we had 3 other tables food dropped off at our table. <br/><br/>4th time he came- he looked at us- we said no- he turned around complained to the waitress so she decided it was.funny to yell over the crowd- there are over 60 people in our section... all having a good time... <br/><br/>I guess you take the good with the bad but if the food wasnt half bad- and I wasn't with friends- I would not bring other people here.

Great!~. Tried it out for the first time and went back ..i love their tuesday seafood pasta for 9 bucks~ (big scallops and prawns).. the wings are tasty and you can choose wings to be tossed in sauce or dip in sauce but kinda small the next time we went back...our short blond hair waitress gave great service ! i like the outdoor smoking patio where u can eat too

I picked the wrong section in the wrong pub. So many issues with my server that it would be exhausting to describe the neglectful sloppiness of this entire experience. <br/><br/>The food is very cheap and still not worth it. <br/><br/>I wouldn't even walk into this place to use the bathroom and if I did I wouldn't flush... Just to fit in. <br/><br/>What a dump

Great pub. This is a great place to go for sports. i have been there for superbowl and the place was nuts. food specials are a great deal and the service was awesome. thinking of joining there football pool this year. would recommend this pub to everyone.

My Fav Pub. Live in coquitlam and go here for any event. Weekends are great with live bands and Dj's. Play beer pong Wednesday nights with my crew. Huge events for football and hockey! Always great prizes and food special. liquor store next door has great sales and always has the newest best things around. Young and or old you will have a good time there

WIngs to Live for. These are probably the best wings I have ever had. Not a breaded sloppy and soggy mess like every where else but actually a nice crisp surprise. Thank you to the staff for friendliness and service. Also thank you to whom ever does the ordering as these are not what everyone else offers! I try to get back there every time I'm in Coquitlam. One day I may even try something else. Maybe.

Played electronic poker on their tv while waiting for my food. Picked up some lotto tickets and watched the game. Oh right, we came there for food. Good price, good quality , a bit overboard with the toast. Will come back to check out the 20 cent winds

Favourite Pub. This is by far my favourite pub, the only thing that would make it better (for me) is the style of wings i like. Not to say that their wings aren't great! The weekend breakfast special is amazing and the food is delicious! Not to mention this was the only place in town that could cook eggs medium the right way. Any other place and they either turn out smiley or over cooked (that includes all the breakfast restaurants in town)<br/><br/>The atmosphere for a bar is also outstanding, very calm and safe place to drink.
