Hidden gem. Came here on the weekend, it was pretty busy. But was seated quickly. Ordered dumplings, toss salad with noodles, Ja jung noodles, fried chicken tenders and spicy seafood noodles. All were tasty especially liked the spicy seafood noodle, a lot more seafood than most Korean places. Will come back to try other dishes
Went here as a party of four and was not disappointed. The service is friendly and accomodating. The staff helped us picked out our food which were unique Korean-Chinese dishes which exhibits an intriguing blend of culture in a culinary masterpiece. We ordered the jajang and spicy pork which were delicious and had huge portions. The food was full of flavour which brings out a fusion of two cuisines intersecting. Overall, with excellent service and a unique blend of flavours that lead to a great food experience, this place is a strong recommendation that is worth trying (and coming back too).
WOW! It was our first time trying Korean food and we were absolutely blown away. The Jjamppong seafood soup was stunning. Beautiful presentation and even BETTER taste. I highly highly recommend this soup to all the soup lovers out there. The broth was sensational and the noodles mixed with all the different types of sea foods was truly something special. On the menu it shows that its really spicy and i asked for it to be less spicy and they said no problem. The plates were also 10/10.
Only thing I have to say is the service could have been a little more better as I had to call waiters over and over to ask for basic things like water. Nonetheless, everything was delicious.
Beijing's signature menu is Yuringi. The combination of very crispy fries and moist vegetables and sauce is the best.
It was my first time coming here. The place was spacious and clean. We ordered (sorry for the butchered spelling) kampoongki, yu ring ki, jajangmyun, and champong. For the most part all the food was 10/10, but we thought the jajang could have been better. Will definitely come back
A friend chose this place for dinner and I am so happy we discovered this place! By the name of the place, I had assumed it was a Chinese restaurant but turned out to be a Korean restaurant. Their menu has a lot of traditional Korean dishes, but I was surprised by the "fried chicken" dishes as it's not what I am typically used to. They look more like pieces of chicken, battered and fried. I am more use to the Korean Fried Chicken that are in bigger pieces. Regardless, they were tasty!
[Jjamppong] - A spicy seafood noodle soup! This was the highlight of our night! It was so packed with seafood flavour in the broth, a little too spicy for me (I have a very low spice tolerance) but it was so addicting that I couldn't stop myself. The perfect spice amount for my husband (he has a very high spice tolerance). Highly highly recommend this dish if you can handle your spice, for those that can't I recommend sharing it with someone who can because trust me you don't want to miss out on the amazing flavours of this dish! Probably the best Korean seafood soup in Canada!
[Family Jjang for 4] - This was a huge portion and honestly feds more than 4 as we had a group of 8, but also because we ordered other dishes to share. The dish itself didn't stand out too much for us though.
[Tangsuyouk] - Fried pork with a sweet & sour sauce, I was not a huge fan of this dish as I found the pork to be a little dry and tough.
[Kkanppungi] - Fried Chicken with spicy sweet & sour sauce. Like I mentioned earlier, not the fried chicken I am use to. This was still good and packed with flavours and a good kick of spice but I still prefer a big piece of thigh or drumstick for my fried chicken rather than smaller bite size pieces.
Overall, the food was good, but if I had to go again I would probably only order the soup and maybe the chicken. They were also fairly busy when we went on a weekend at around 7pm and had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated. Service was also a little bit slow but they were busy.
This is my favourite Korean-Chinese restaurant. Reasonably priced and friendly staff always. I usually have Jajang, Jappong and Yuringgi. I highly recommend!
