Royal Bay Bakery - Colwood - Photo album

I’ve driven by a lot and popped in a few months back for sweet treats, cookies and cinnamon rolls. All of those were great! Second visit was around 9:15am, the place was empty. The staff is super friendly but they seemed disorganized or maybe distracted. We were eating in and I had a breakfast wrap.
A gem of a bakery! This is a smallish bakery in a great location. They have a huge selection of cookies and pastries to choose from. Their bacon breakfast sandwich tasted so good and the sausage roll was excellent. The service was vey fast and friendly. We'll definitely come back.
This bakery has very kind staff, even when it's super busy! I've gone when it's busy as well as when there was a break. This bakery is small and can be tight. I do warn you. However, the hearts of the people working are big and warm. This is one of the best places to go for a coffee break! The donut
So much to choose from. Even though I've driven by this place so many times, I've never gone in until today. GEEZE so many incredible and delicate pastries. Took a snapshot of the one that was my favourite. Can't remember the name but they are gently sweet, airy and light. Tastes just divine! The Ci
Bread is great. Donuts not so great. Lots of baking options and tasty. Tons of carbs inside. A neat place to checkout.
Lots of yummy looking treats. Staff was friendly and kind. Lots of people either eating in or takiing out. Cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing was decadent. Would have been even better if there would have been raisins in it. Highly recommend.
Oh my goodness. What a great bakery. Had an apple fritter, glazed donut, a couple of salads and a sandwhich. All delicious. Eager to get back to try some of the cookies which look like perfect bite-sized morsels for dipping into coffee. As well, if you are on the spit by Colwood, it's an easy drive
Best Apple fritters on the island. Great strudels as well, lovely bakery with lots of selection. Great place to stop in for a savory treat or a sweet and a coffee
Enjoying a mild December on the patio. Delicious breakfast sandwich (one of the best imho), rich americano. This place is a gem.
Been going here for over 20 years and I have never not once had a bad experience. The food & baked goods have always been some of the best on the island.
Everything looks so yummy it's hard to chose! Prices can seem a tad high for some sweet baked goods but when you know they used good ingredients and things are so fresh it's worth the little extra! Definately recommend the cinnamon buns and any of the dessert bars. Only downside I would say is no gl
Fantastic bakery with so many nice things. Usually pretty busy because it's so popular. They serve coffee, breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, ice cream, and cakes and other pastries too.
Wonderful selection of breads, buns and sweets. Only 2 gluten free items. Nice little eating area inside, cute outdoor patio. Friendly staff, and a very busy around 3 pm.
Best breakfast bun I’ve had in my life! I had a bacon egg and cheese with mayo and jalapeño cheese :)
Always amazing! The baked goods are quality. Can't ever leave without a bear claw. Softest dinner buns you will ever have. Also, the staff are always kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Royal Bay Bakery
This place is awesome. One of the best bakeries around. Always busy and staff always fast and friendly. Their fritters are out of this world yum. Love the blueberry fritters. Bear paws are good too!
No trip out to the westshore is complete without sandwiches and naked goodies from Royal Bay Bakery!
Bottom line is they have very good baked goods from desserts and sweets to lunch items. My partner and I have been heading out that way for several weeks on Saturdays and it has become part of our routine. One week, however, we switched to Sunday only to discover they close on Sundays. Be aware i
