I've been eating here since 2010, the food was always delicious, great portions for the price and pretty much all you could ask for when it comes to Chinese food.
I have heard of some "horror stories" like being double billed or receiving food cold, I've never experienced these but from what I've heard whenever they were confronted about it they were more then happy to accommodate, even issuing a full refund and making food fresh for a friend of mine who found it cold when he got home.
Though there are better Chinese food places, if your in the area and don't want to travel far, it's a great little spot and one I'd recommend
Food. I also agree that its slow, but maybe thats why its so good??

This has been my go-to Chinese food place in the HRM since it opened. I've never had a bad meal here. Absolutely delicious and very generous portion sizes! My go-to is combo one and I also love their xo crispy beef! And I'm not usually to big on egg rolls but I'm OBSESSED with the ones at Tan's!
Everything was hot,perfectly cooked and fresh ! Egg rolls are amazing! Glad we gave this place a try and will definitely be back.
Our go-to Chinese food restaurant in Dartmouth! Always a New Years Eve special meal for our family - 5 years in a row! Great staff and absolutely awesome food. I would highly recommend Tans Restaurant! One more point - always order extra egg rolls for the next day - there will be leftovers! Thank you again Tans 😘
