Amazing food ( best fish tacos anywhere!) , local craft beer, great wine, and of course any whiskey/bourbon/scotch you could want, great staff.. guess that’s why we keep going back .. again.. and again..

The staff were wonderful even though the place was packed and they didn't stop, they kept our pints refilled and always with a smile!
The tunes were awesome, thanks to Andrew Molloy & friends and The Northern Ramblers 2.0! We eventually had some nibblies (to offset a pint or ten lol) and it was served up hot and delicious. Huge thanks to you all and to you Chris for making sure all the 'little details' as we talked about were taken care of on such a busy day. You've provided us with another amazing St.Paddy's Irish Pub experience and memories to tide us over until next year's turn!

Had an amazing time at the tap takeover this weekend! It’s evident how tirelessly the staff and the management work to make it a success. The food, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic as always. It’s a friendly, warm and welcoming establishment and it’s just a shame that a very small minority would try to tarnish their reputation and hard work. Keep doing what you’re doing as you’re spot on. Congrats to Chris and the all the staff, keep the good times rolling!!
I have never had a bad experience in this place actually, that's not a good way to say it. The food that I have had and the atmosphere at Jamieson's is worth going to try for yourself. It's a great spot and the food is yummy
4 of us went Saturday afternoon for the tap takeover and for some live Cape Breton music. Food was wonderful, music was awesome, service was incredible, beer was nice and cold and delicious. What more could you ask for? Thanks and we will be back!
We go mostly on the Tuesday nights for the live music night that features local, regional and touring singer-songwriters.
The variety and quality of the beer is great and always something new on tap. The food has been consistently good since we came here 5 years ago.
We have met the owner, Chris, and he & his staff have all been very pro and friendly over the years.
Just had the Irish stew last night! Yum.

Great Friendly staff! I was greeted really nice. The woman that worked lunch hour yesterday was absolutely amazing! Also great food, best fries in Canada.
Jamieson's on Tuesday nights is an amazing place to be. They hold an open mic that draws some very talented people in to entertain the patrons. 16 different beers on tap, an excellent menu and super friendly owner and staff. This ain't McDonalds, I'm lovin' it!

Was on our way back to Halifax from the beaches with the boys .. this restaurant is a hidden gem !! Our server Leah was so kind and took care of us. Will be coming back for more while I’m here

Recommend by our bnb host, we headed out for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The staff was fun, helpful and attentive. The food was AMAZING! We had Mussels for an appetizer the brazed lamb and shrimp and chorizo pasta followed by cheesecake for dessert. We loved every bite! If I could give more than five stars I would!

Hubby and I had gone to Jamieson's many years ago and I remember having a delicious meal. Since we had an appointment nearby, we thought we would try it again. OMG!! Just as good as I remembered!! We shared our whole meal. Mushroom caps appetizer, BackBacon burger with fries, and the Fish Tacos (I've never had before) which were on special and so so good.
Can't wait to go back 😋😋

My mother and I were in town for a celebration and our hotel was near by so we decided to check out the pub. Atmosphere and decor were wonderful. Our waitress Molly was new, but super helpful and pleasant. We tried the fish and chips and the potato skins. Both items were top notch! And what a selection of adult beverages and rotating taps!!! We were impressed and I'll be returning very soon with my husband. Can't wait!
Went for Taco Tuesday - the haddock tacos are delicious, highly recommend! Our server was delightful too, very helpful and attentive!
