I went with a few friends for coffee at 7:30 am at the Cobourg Beach and was served by Montana at Market & Smor. What a treat! We had french vanilla cappuccinos for $1.00 and the organic greek yogurt with granola and fruit was fabulous! I took home some potato salad and coleslaw for dinner and both were excellent. The service was great and the jazz music playing provided a nice atmosphere early in the morning. Market & Smor is a best kept secret! I definitely recommend them to anyone wanting healthy and delicious food and great service!
This place is amazing. My partner and I have been a number of times, and the products and service are outstanding!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for healthy alternatives.
We LOVE the dairy-free nutmilk-based vegan soft serve ice cream - it makes going on our beach dates that much sweeter. :) We also enjoy the many fresh smoothies on your menu. Thank you for bringing such nutritious and delicious on-the-go options to Cobourg! The couple who run the business, Montana and Lucas, are very lovely and personable. Market and Smor has brought enthusiastic change to the beach front, and I'm loving it. This is our 3rd summer in Cobourg, and the previous years have been frustrating as when we stay longer than intended or didn't bring enough to eat, we were stuck purchasing fries too often. There are so many options now that you actually feel good about buying. Every time I go, they have something new they are trying out, even if it's just better signage. They have been so awesome about acquiring customer feedback and figuring out what works and what doesn't.
Before they opened, Montana would be singing, taking pictures of smoothies, cheering when she nailed a recipe, etc. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and passionate about what they are doing and offering for our town. The hard work has not gone unnoticed. We especially loooove the sour berry smoothie, and last time I was there they had a cooler out front so you can see what you're all getting in their food trays. I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches so haven't tried the smors, but this cooler now has snack arrangements that can easily fill for a healthy lunch and are picky toddler friendly. We got the meat/cheese one with these yummy seed crackers and fresh fruit in the center that we will definitely be getting again!
