Birthday dinner with my kids last night. Loved the wide variety of vegetarian options. The chickpea pot pie was delicious!!! I have the cocktail flight which was tasty but I would suspect a very low alcohol content. The brownie dessert was more than enough to share. We sat outside which is a nicely covered and heated area for all weather conditions. And they had a lovely blanket rack if you get chilly. It is self serve replacing your order but they bring the food to the table for you and it was truly a lovely experience. The grounds are gorgeous. If you have time get out and wander them before or after your meal. I wish they were open a bit later. We arrived at 6pm and they close at 8pm. Thanks for your hospitality!
A casual rustic farmhouse venue with lots of windows flung open to let in the fresh air. Very cool! Menus are at the tables and you head to the counter to order. Enjoyed the in pulled pork sandwich and cider (of course!) But the special pizza looked good too! Friendly service and wonderful ambiance.
Possibly the best Lamb burger I’ve ever had. The flavours complimented each other and the side salad was delicious. This is REAL food and you can taste it. Next day we had the Steak & Mushroom and the Chickpea pie, wow. Topped it off with their homemade Apple pie. Of course can’t forget the Cider. Very good. My favourite is the Cowichan Valley Cider. My wife loved the Apple Liquor. Fantastic meal in lovely relaxing setting. Total Recommend 👍👍👍👍👍
Went to this cidery tonight with a friend. The Christmas lights were so cute and fun. I love the cider here and the hot mulled cider was especially yummy and festive. I had the chicken pie and the eggnog bread pudding and both were very delicious! The staff (even though it’s a “order at the bar” kinda place) were constantly ready to help us and were super friendly. Can’t wait to come back :)
Love this place set in the countryside of the south portion of Vancouver Island. Quiet, scenic, peaceful and comforting.
Close to the highway (5+ min drive) in the amazing area of Cowichan Bay.
Now about Ciders, a great selection for every taste; you can do various flights or pints of your favorites. From light and dry to sweet, flavourful and even delicious apple 🍏🍎 liquor 🥃, at 20% it's slightly sweet, bitter with the hint of sour. Perfect sipper by the open fire.
You can also enjoy delicious flight's of Bourbon and Gin.
Love the atmosphere, and even brick owen backed sourdough bread.
Didn't have a chance to enjoy your food, as we already had some down in the bay, but heard good comments about it, and will try next time
Still here but can't wait to come back on Saturday to enjoy all of this simple, down to earth and from good earth goodness while listening to live music.
We got the breakfast and lunch charcuterie board with flights, the price was very reasonable and everything was extremely tasty. Loved the apple butter and Jalisco seasonal cider!
The gift shop was also extremely dangerous and I spent a little too much there.
