Review Cloverdale Bakery - Cloverdale

Fantastic, smiling service, and first rate fresh products. They literally have the best whipped cream cakes on the planet (and I don’t even like cake!!). Very reasonably priced and prompt, friendly service. $

Unfortunately it was challenging to take pictures re I did not want to hold up people waiting outside due to covid and the limit of 2 customers at a time. So it was in, buy, and out. Everything looked tasty but we just got some almond slices this time. They had a layer of apricot jam, and I think either some marzipan or almond essence in the cake. They were delicious. A good size for the price. Very moist and full of almond flavour with some nice tang from the apricot. I would definitely get these again. Daniel

The best danish style baking in BC! I no longer live nearby, but have to stop in every time I am in the area to grab an almond strip, vanilla slice, marzipan slice or French wafer. Perfection!

I was there a few weeks ago wanting to stock up for a few old Danish Ladies I know so I drove from Mission B. C. (April 2022). Maybe the loss of business due to COVID has had an affect on what was once a thriving little bakery which had a wide variety of delicious baked goods. As I entered I noticed immediately their shrinking selection; fewer display cases, and even fewer products. The "girl" behind the counter also radiated an attitude which was rather dismissive, uncaring and not what I would pick as winning any awards in the PR section of the business. I would do a "total overhaul" and some serious advertising because 15 years ago this was a bakery worth driving 35km to get to. Did I mention that their prices are also through the roof now? Like $4. for a little Copenhagen Square!

Best bakery I’ve ever been to and I travel all over Canada for work. The place could use a face lift but and a little imagination. But product is 2nd to none

Is most epic Apple strudel ever if you want one call ahead and order it as it'll probably be sold out when you go in

I've been going to this bakery since I was a kid, and there's no other place I'd rather go for a tasty treat. My entire family is obsessed with their brandysnaps and French wafers! Every big family dinner is finished with their treats for dessert and the lady that's always working is so kind and wonderful, I always love seeing her

Danish treats and other baked goods. Only place left in town. But they are so nice and yummy food

Their Fresh bread is delicious, go earlier to see what they have. Their cakes are also quite delicious, not a huge variety but I've tried two and they were both great.

This place is amazing! You haven't lived until you've had a mocha boat!

This place is disgusting. I went inside & it smells like sum1 smokes cigarettes inside & everything's old and yellow stained... I would never buy anything here.

Jump one block over onto 176A and you’ll find Cloverdale Bakery… specializing in Danish pastries for over 20 years. If you didn’t know that it was here, it would be easy to drive right by it.
