Review Jim's Pizzeria - Chilliwack

Going to start with the fact that my family and I have generally enjoyed pizza from Jim's. But the visit tonight seriously cost them any future business from anyone related to me period! I ordered 2for1 XL pizzas tonight and figured it should have come to around 50$ - 60$ tax in tops. I'm absolutely blown away when the kid behind the counter tells me 73.30$ which works out to exactly 31.65$ more than the 2for1 large pizza's of the exact same kind. Me and my wife have tried to find some reasonable explanation as to why the 2for1 - 14" pizza we bought about a month ago (same jims location) worked out to 41.65$ and the 2for1 - 16" pizzas worked out to 73.30$ That's exactly 31.65$ difference for pizza's that are 2" bigger, it's not like they used more dough to make them because the large pizza's aren't thin crust, and the XL's were definitely thin crust(no I did not order it as thin crust). My 9 year old could barely chew the crust it was so hard/crunchy. I've had more leftovers from 2 large then these 2 XL (4 people eating) The half baked kid that was serving me was seriously useless when I asked how the heck it ended up costing such an insane amout more I got a blank look and a "I dunno dude". Last time I ever go to any jims pizza location anywhere, had the girl given me a subtotal on the phone when I ordered I would have indefinitely changed my order. I can't even believe they are charging people 30+$ more for 2 - 16"(thin crunchy crust) vs 2 - 14"(regular crust)

I'm gonna be honest, the 3 pizzas we ordered (Jim's special, Hawaiian and meat lovers) we're super tasty, barring only a few crusts that had uncooked pizza dough bubbles but that didn't bother me. I also ordered a "large" Caesar salad, I'll break that down shortly though. What did bother me though is even though I agreed to a 45-60 minute wait for pickup (which is a bit crazy), I arrived just before the full hour only to have been greeted with another 20 minute wait. I don't know why exactly the pizza production was being marred so badly to justify that wait, but what really got my gears going was the large Caesar salad I got, which came in a larger container and 4 Caesar sauce cups and 2 bacon bits. None of that did me any good though because the container was less than half empty, which truly set the tone. I'm disappointed that experience overshadowed how good the pizza is, because I do like Jim's a lot. However in my personal opinion, if you're going to sell salads, don't sell THAT salad. I'll take some time before I order again, but not all hope is lost and I just want you let you know that.

Gonna start off by saying I lived for this place for years. Lived in town for a year, ate it all the time. Moved to Vancouver, and made a point of getting a pie every time I was back in town to visit my parents. My favourite pizza! Something was really off tonight. Not sure who made it. Bad dough, not saucy as usual, undercooked. Dad says he likes it, but he eats cold chilli out of the can… I’ll try again next time I’m in town.

Good pizza but always have to check the price. We order the same pizza every Friday 2 small, one ham & pineapple, one pepperoni. And a large children carbonara. Sometimes it's $39 sometimes it's $43. Seriously what's the price supposed to be? I would give 5 stars otherwise

Excellent Pizza Guys and the 2 Medim for $20.00, WOW. Heating up the leftovers.

Took over an hour for pick up, we got the $40 deal. 2 large pizzas, wings and jimmy nibz. The pizza looked and tasted like it was left over and then heated up again. The crust was burnt, dry and so thin and pepperoni was dry and so crisp. The wings were rubbery. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

The pizza is hit or miss, seems like half my pizza is thin crust and normal crust. The cinnamon dessert thing was inedible due to it being flat as cardboard and unable to take a bite. The customer service and general attitude of the staff is the worst. It seems like they are annoyed having to deal with customers. We're paying your wages by ordering pizza. I now remember why I didn't order from Jim's for almost 5 years. Calling into the store to complain about the pizza concerns me with the potential of food tampering from disgruntled employees..there I said it.

Would be 5 star if i could get delivery to midtown way, it truly sucks that the better and closer Jims (that I have been a customer with for over 15 years) is not aloud in the lesser Jims “territory”. You guys have wayyyy better pizza!

i remember a great pizza place out in the wack many years back. i thought it was jim’s on the north side of the freeway. while out there last week i decided to pick up a pizza. well...it was on the south side. so i guess it’s a different name i was thinking of. <br/>this place? awesome. thin crust pepperoni and pineapple. one of the best pizzas i’ve ever had. well done.

Decent pizza, flat crust was really good, normal crust was super puffy but a bit undercooked in the thick parts ... Friendly delivery driver

Horrible. The girl on the phone was extremely rude, worst customer service ever.<br/><br/>The kitchen is absolutely disgusting. Instead of a cleaned storage space unwashed pizza pans are put back into rotation. Food storage is terrible, flour over everything, perishables stored next to each other not refrigerated. <br/><br/>Needless to say after one bout of food poisoning, I will never, ever go back. Absolutely disgusting!. Normally I order from demetres but they weren't answering.... Anyways worst pizza I have ever had! It was so undercooked the pineapple and peppers were raw! And the pizza itself was a greasy disgusting slop show! The wings were soggy not crispy what so ever and the lasagna was legit soup with some lasagna noodles. Never ordering from them again! And wouldn't advise anyone to spend any money at their establishment either

(0.5x2)+(0.5x2)=4?. Tried to get the 2 large 2 topping pizzas for $25 deal and ordered 2 large half and half pizzas with 2 toppings on each half but they told me that would equal 4 toppings so that wouldn't work. I explained that there would only be half the amount of each topping on each half so it would still be 2 toppings (0.5x2)+(0.5x2)=2. The reason was that I needed one with daiya cheese because of an allergy. They said I could get 4 full pizzas or get 2 half and half pizzas with 2 toppings on one half and just cheese on the other. I've never heard of a pizza place being that difficult about ordering half and half pizzas. The manager didn't seem to care. I won't be going there again.

Worst Ever. Disgusting, not fit for a dog , ( wait...dogs deserve better )

Worst pizza I have ever had. We have never ordered from Jim's before, so we thought we would give it a go. Ugh , disgusting! Ordered 2 large, costing $52. The pizza was luke warm, the crust was soggy, it was greasy, and the tomato sauce tasted like tomatoes with water added. We will NEVER order from here again.

Good pizza takes time!. In town for one night, rolled the dice and ordered a pizza. The said it would take an hour. That is faster than I could make a pizza so I took the deal. It was delivered to my hotel door hot and delicious in about 45 minutes. I would say it is similar to Pizza Hut only better. Others may have different results, but I was satisfied.

Disgusting. Absoulutley disgusting, we ordered home delivery, food arrived , we paid for it , opened bag and found that our chicken wings were bones , ALREADY EATEN !!!!!!!!!, called Jims back within 5 mins, manager would not refund and or pick up food. Offered a credit only, who in the hell would want thier food now ?<br/>Wouldnt even accept a email picture as proof, wouldnt give owners name, was rude also<br/><br/>WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN.....McDonalds has better standards

Enjoyable Original. Nice to have hand made, tasty pizza instead of factory made chain pizza. Sauce and crust is noteworthy.

Greasy, heartburn pizza. I guess they were once good but our pizza had those gross orangey greasy puddles on it and I just knew I'd be tasting it for days. Yuk. One time I tried ordering Dominoes Pizza. The two numbers (Dominoes and Jim's) in Chilliwack are very similar. I dialled Jim's by accident. The track star on the other end of the phone called me a meatball and laughed right at me. Never called again. I'm surprised those people are still in business.

Do not order from any of their locations. Absolutely horrible experience. I've had their Pizza before, and it is good. However, when I tried to order it for myself, the gentleman on the phone told me a one hour wait. I find that a bit much, but I accepted because I wasn't dying of hunger. An hour and forty minutes later I called to ask what was going on and I was told that the guy who took my order told the manager that I had cancelled it, when I most certainly did not. <br/><br/>The level of disrespect I got from him I feel is absurd. The people who own this establishment should seriously re-evaluate the quality of their staff. The acting manager when I did call back however was very nice. Not a fan. It's greasy sub par pizza, that isn't worth the worth the hype it ever got. The only good thing about their pizza is the little bun in the middle

Manager is extremely rude, & the delivery service sucks- never again! Had Jim's pizza couple times & it was tasty- the Greek pizza was delicious. One night (6pm) we ordered a pizza & waited- 30 minutes later we get a call, we're told Jim's doesn't deliver to our area since its not in Chilliwack. Ridiculous! I explained & said all my mail verifies I live in Chilliwack- I just got a blunt ' no ' and got hung up on. I called the next day and asked to speak to the manager- a vile, rude woman she was. She kept cutting me off mid sentence saying that they don't deliver to our area, again telling me its not in Chilliwack & talking over me. No apology or anything- disgusting excuse for a manager. We've never bothered going back. Demetre's is pizza is so much better!

Great people!. Best Pizza in Chilliwack - always tons of toppings, and they always have great deals going on. Plus, Jim's is one of the best businesses around for getting involved in the community, and helping out with fundraisers. They have run numerous fundraisers for local kids fighting cancer, and other charities. Great group of people working here and running the place!

Good Pizza. Recently my family ordered two medium pizzas from Jims for pick up. They took about 15-20 minutes and were piping hot when we received them. We paid $32 for two medium specialty pizzas that were so loaded with toppings I don't think you could've fit more on them. The BBQ chicken Hawaiian was good and the veggie was one of the better we've had. I make home made pizza from scratch so I'm quite picky about my pizza, and these were well made.<br/><br/>The pizzas weren't any greasier than normal pizza is, they were so loaded they were very filling, and actually tasted very good. Much better than Pizza Hut or Dominos. My son, who is allergic to soy, had no issues with the crust. <br/><br/>Service was fast and professional. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews below, but our experience was a good one. Will try them again!

I don't know why people like this place? I ordered from the Sardis location and it was just a generic doughy mess! I would rather buy a frozen pizza from the grocery store and throw it my oven. Absolutely terrible pizza!

I would like to say that this is the grosses pizza I have ever had. I took one bite it was so hard I called they sent out another pizza same thing so I call the 2 place they informed me that the down town store oven where know good that the owner has to replaced the oven so I am out 20 for a pizza oh they offered me 5 dollars for my inconvenience towards a new one how is that fair I hope other people don't get screwed like I did I will make sure I tell everyone I know that's for sure.

Nacho's. The best nacho's in Chilliwack!! A huge large serving to feed definetly 4 people. Piled with ton's of cheese and two side dishes of Salsa and Sour cream :) Have had it several times!

Jim's Skimpy No time For you Pizza!. Seriously, I just ordered a pizza from there at 9 PM on a Tuesday. I was greeted by an irritated sounding girl who took my order. I came and picked up the pie. What I bought for $14.55 was a doughy piece of bread with a bit of cheese on it spread thinly and 3 out the 4 toppings ordered on it. Pathetic. I tried this place on a whim to be different. Thank you Jim for confirming that HUNGRY MAN'S PIZZA blows your cheap arse out of the water everyday, all day! Show some pride. <br/><br/>PS. Downtown Chilliwack location of Jim's Pizzeria @ 9 PM Tuesday Nov 20 2012 was running some weak rude staff.

Why do people like this place?. I have never been a fan of Jim's Pizza at either location, but I do give it a shot every now and again just to be reminded that it's subpar and over priced for what you get.

Worst food ever x 2. So can you imagine you hurting for food, you order from Jim's, it arrives the lettuce is full of water, you have to drain it before even thinking about putting salad dressing on, oh well I didn't really want salad anyways. So then you open the Raviolli, it looks pretty good but oh my it is cold....so you phone Jim's in Chilliwack you talk to some young girl that is acting like the biggest bimpo....all I wanted was a refund but no I had to wait another 45 minutes to get some more wilted salad that once again needed draining and guess what the Raviolli was colder than the last one. What ever happened to customer service.....I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM JIM'S PIZZA EVER AGAIN, NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD AWFUL BUT THE STAFF NEEDS A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, FIGHTING ON THE PHONE WITH THE CUSTOMER OVER THE FOOD BEING COLD OR NOT, SERIOUSLY WERE THEY IN MY HOUSE WHEN I OPENED IT....I SHOULD HAVE MADE THE DELIVERY DRIVER STAY AND HE COULD HAVE CONFIRMED THIS. THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE RATED AS IT IS THE WORST FOOD AND SERVICE.

I will not order from Jim's pizza Sardis. I have had it delivered cold, like it came out of the refrigerator. Then when I called to complain they asked if I wanted a replacement pizza. I said yes, being a Friday night this took another hour and a half. I got the replacements and this time not only cold but they were the wrong pizzas. This time I called they said they would not bring replacements. Then I asked to speak with the manager. At this point I was offering to just return all the pizzas and get my money back. He would not do this and then decided to threaten me saying "he would kick my ass after his shift". At this point I hung up. Went out and got some McDonalds done deal. Jim's downtown is amazing however. Too bad the Sardis one is filled with bad people.

Great pizza! They usually get it right, and i can understand when they dont. Cause they only screw up when theyre busy . Gotta give them a break , they are a family business just trying to keep up with the demands of a growing city . Keep up the good work jims!

Phone Number Issue. We tried to call your restaurant to order pizzas and wings but the number on the menu we got from the hotel was the fax number ---- we checked the website and it was the same number. I suggest you check this out before you lose customers.

Terrible!. We have always ordered from Jims and have found it to be decent. The last few times, the service has slipped so horribly that we will never order it again. Tonight we ordered 2 med pizzas for delivery. It took over 2 hours to receive the pizzas, and when we opened the boxes, they were ice cold. <br/>When we phone jims, we were given the run-around. Finally, they offered us a 20 dollar credit (the inedible pizzas were $40.00). when we told them that it wa not acceptable, they said they'd send back the driver to pick up the cold pizzas and refund our credit card. We are still waiting....<br/><br/>This isn't the first time this has happened, but it will definatley be our last time ordering from Jims. Terrible, terrible service.

My husband just raves about their wonderful thin crust, meat and dOuble cheese. No wonder they are rated #1 for 6 years on a row for the best PIZZA joint in Chilliwack Yeah! We LOvE JIM'S

Best For Years!. We have been going to this Jim's for years and love it. They have exceptional service and great pizza loaded with toppings. I have tried the other location in Chilliwack 3 times and each time it was burnt, gross and thin. The sardis one is the best though! We also like the pasta - though I find their sauce a bitter sweeter than my taste.

Terrible pizza. Went there because of the reviews and best of chilliwach rating but was truly disapointed with the taste of the pizza, not good at all. All the major chains serve better pizza definitely.

2nd bad pizza from Jim's on Vedder Rd.. For the second time in probably 3 months, I chose to order a large pepperoni, bacon and cheese for pickup for my daughter visiting Chilliwack from Ontario.I ordered from the Sardis location.(wed. Aug. 11 @ 5:30 pm..sadly, once again, I was very disappointed with the result. An extra 15 mins delay after time promised (2 free soft drinks offered for my trouble)and upon reaching home..25 kms away, I opened it to find a thin, dried up partially burnt crust I just threw out. Sorry Jim's, I can no longer throw good money away on a bad product.

Simply put, the tastiest pizza in Chilliwack. Great value!

Best wings ever. If you don;t eat anything else, eat the wings. hands down best wings in chilliwack.

Great Pizza - probably the best in Chilliwack. Probably the best pizza in Chilliwack, the lasagne is good too, but avoid the wings.. they are brutal.
