Review Yale Sushi - Chilliwack

One of the best Sushi places in town. Great prices and very fresh tasting seafood. The Tenpura was crispy and delicious. The Dynamite Roll was huge and tasty! The BBQ Eel roll is equally as yummy and I tried my wife's Alaskan Roll and had to have more. We took it to go and this is how we got it. It was perfect. Thank you chefs for the great dinner

We’re looking for restaurant to treat our clinical instructor for our last day but because most of them opens late afternoon we decided to take our lunch here and we’re not disappointed. The place is cozy and the inside is clean. The food’s not too expensive and the serving’s big and well presented. I don’t live in Chilliwack but if you had the chance to and are looking for a sushi or roll to eat, you must try this one. Food’s tasty but not too much to the point that you can’t have it anymore.

Very good food and generous amount of servings! Staffs are very nice and accomodating. I highly recommend the Red dragon sushi!

Usually very good but received our order tonight with no ginger, no wasabi, no dressing for our green salad with crab. Very disappointed.

Great wild salmon! Good food, good service; but not the best. Didn't ask use about additional beverages and tried taking my menu before I ordered ,after my friend ordered a larger 60$ order

Yale sushi is without a doubt the best sushi in chilliwack, the explosion roll is insanely good. It's expensive but you get what you pay for.

Absolutely the best sushi I've had and I've eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants! The waitresses are incredible, always smiling regardless of how crazy busy they are. Love love love this place :)

Yale Sushi is reportedly one of the best sushi restaurants in Chilliwack, and since that's where my dad decided to park, that's where we ended up eating. The restaurant is Korean-operated, and we were pleasantly surprised by the clean, modern decor and the spacious seating. There was a good flow of customers during our visit on a weekday afternoon

I have visited Yale Sushi several times in May through July 2015. The food has been good every time. I took my girlfriend and her daughter on July 5th 2015. We ordered the veggie combo rolls and a kids meal. The food was very good and all three of us were stuffed for $21.

Don't like it here.. Waitresses are rude. They constantly are giving snobby looks, even if I smile at them. Gave us our bill right away before we even finished, and it wasn't busy. Chicken was undercooked. Don't like this place at all.

Best Sushi in Chilliwack!. Yale Sushi is my favourite place in town. It is always super fast and fresh and their lunch boxes are a great price considering all the food you get.

Decent food, bad service. My friend and I went today for lunch. We walked in and were greeted few moments later where a girl pointed where to sit from across the resturant. She did not seat us or come greet us at our table. There were two waitresses standing at the front, talking amongst themselves and on there cell phones which I found to be a bit disrespectful considering we weren't even asked what we would like to drink. We waited at least 10 minutes before she came and then just asked what we wanted to order.. No even mention of drinks. We order our food and asked for drinks. The food was alright, typical sushi if you ask me. We both got chicken teriyaki lunch boxes. The avocado in my California roll tasted a bit off, but other than that it wasn't too bad.

How to go from "OK" to terrible in one easy step. I've gone to Yale sushi a number of times and their food has always been "OK". Service was rarely great and portions and prices about average. They happen to be close to where I work so if I wanted a sushi lunch I might order there. Well today I had an absolutely terrible experience at Yale Sushi. The spider roll they served was so gross and fishy tasting that I had to spit it out. When I mentioned it to the hostess she argued with me that it was good quality and fresh but eventually (reluctantly) asked me what I would like for them to do. I said they could take the roll off my bill. I wasn't looking for a free meal and was fine paying for the rest. <br/>THEY WOULDN'T EVEN DO THAT and instead charged me half-price for the gross fish-reeking roll they gave me that I tasted one piece of and had to spit back out into a napkin while fighting the urge to vomit. Well I hope the three bucks you saved is worth me NEVER EATING THERE AGAIN and strongly encouraging everyone else to avoid you.<br/>Mistakes happen, I get that, but it's all about how to deal with them. If you regularly eat at Yale Sushi they will eventually mess something up. Be prepared for them to not care one bit about you as a customer or your experience with them when that happens. <br/>There are plenty of good Sushi restaurants in Chilliwack. I highly recommend eating anywhere BUT Yale Sushi.

Chicken yaki-udon. This was my first time ordering yaki-udon anywhere, and now I am hooked! Their dish had a delicious sauce, and I swear that half of the dish was chicken. I eat a lot, but managed less than half! AND, only $10 !!<br/>I was there with a large group, and all the sushi that came out looked amazing (especially the veggie combo), and we had friendly and quick service. This may take over from Vedder sushi as my new go-to place.

Best sushi worst service.. I don't normally eat in restaurants but I love sushi and a good friend came from out of town and wanted to try what I like to think is the best sushi in town, only to be served by a snooty waitress who said maybe 5 words to us and just seemed like she didn't want to be there or serve us. we even had to seat ourselves. great sushi. terrible service.

Horrible service. I have eaten there three times and have been disappointed with the service everything. On Halloween I went in there to eat. Like usual our water glasses sat empty the entire meal, despite the fact that we had spicy rolls. The servers were running around but never came back for refills or to check on us once. Meanwhile the girl working the cash desk who was wearing a halloween costume( antannas or a witch costume or something) sat there and did absolutely nothing the entire time we were there..... Oh no wait, she did sit down at the sushi bar and take videos and selfies of herself...My bad. It's a shame because the sushi is really tasty, but the service is unforgivable.

Amazing food, especially the tuna tataki. Service was the worst I've ever seen. food came quickly, but as soon as we had it we didn't even exist. No plates cleared, and as I'm writing this, it is 20 minutes waiting for someone to actually pay attention so I can ask for my bill. Won't be back.

I have been taking friends or myself to Yale sushi ever since it opened and have never been disappointed ever!!! <br/>Their mango 7 roll is to die for!!! Every roll I've ever tasted (dynamite,yam, chicken, beauty and the beast,ex..) has been great no complaints, except they go a bit easy on the sauce and I usually have to ask for extra. <br/>Kitchen food is also good but sometimes served to hot so you have to wait 5-10 or more minutes for it to cool off before eating it. <br/>Overall great restaurant, love the decor (cute flowers, huge sparkly tables! XD) and a great atmosphere. I give Yale a 8/10!

Don't get me wrong the typical lunch box (a,b,c) are great in a pinch for lunch but chilliwack wake up! There are 12 Japanese restaurants in this town and they all blow! Have you ever had real Japanese food? Judging by the comments on every sushi joint in this town, nobody has a clue. Please people source out some authentic Japanese restaurants. You will have to spend money on fuel, make a reservation and learn to appreciate that a spicy tuna roll doesn't have to be drenched in a sweet sticky hot sauce. Every special roll is covered in sauce I don't get it. I can't wait for the day I don't have to drive once a month out of town for real Japanese food.

Great Sushi, Great Price. Clean restaurant, great menu.<br/>But one complaint... we were seated by a little blonde waitress who promptly ignored us after taking our order. The boss himself had to serve us and clean our table. Needless to say, no tip.

Terrible service. I stopped in for lunch mid-week. I was seated promptly and my order was taken and delivered to my table. The food was alright, albeit nothing special, but as I was 1 of 6 patrons I thought I would have seen the waitress at least once before she dropped off my bill. As the food wasn't good enough to ignore the bad service, I won't be going back.

I moved to Chilliwack last summer and have been trying different places for sushi, so far this is my fave! Great waitresses, great food, good sizes and good price. Love this place, have eaten there many times and gotten take out. I highly recommend this place!

Best sushi restaurant in Chilliwack!. We have been here several times now and love the place. The staff are very welcoming, the decor is modern and inviting, and service is very efficient.<br/>Portion sizes are more than ample (I can only usually eat half of it) and the food is SO tasty. My boyfriend now refuses to go to any other Sushi restaurant in Chilliwack - he says the Sushi here is so good and fresh. I usually have Teriyaki or Yakisoba (don't like Sushi), and I have to say, it is the best I've had for a long time! Would definitely recommend eating here.

Excellent Sushi.. I came here with my family and all of us loved it. The environment is extremely friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, and the different rolls that are available are very creative. I had the "Beauty and the Beast" roll and the "Red Dragon" roll. The Beauty and the Beast roll was this very innovative, delicious and intricately-created roll, and the Red Dragon roll was a deliciously spicy experience for my taste buds. I will definitely be coming back here often.

Really Good!. We had Gyoza and a variety of rolls. "Debbie's Roll" in particular was excellent.

I had spicey Tekka Don and it was very good, lots of Tuna, great service, and nice decor. I will definitely be going back.
