Review Original Joe's - Chilliwack

Wish I took photos & got the name of our server! The food was absolutely delish and the staff was so nice and friendly and made the whole dining experience so lovely. Even though they were busy with the dinner rush, our food came out quickly and everything tasted great!! especially the crispy spicy chicken burger...it was crispy, but not dried out. It was spicy and full of flavor. Well probably be back soon!

Me and my family ate at OJs last night and had some of the best food as per usual. But above all, by far the best and most down to earth server I've had at any restaurant ever. I believe her name was rosabelle? Extremely polite and did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of. Great front of the line workers, leaving a lasting impression😁

Considering how short staffed they were, the serving staff did extremely well. Some feature menu items were not available because the kitchen couldn't prep them (staffing), but OJs has pretty good variety, so there is something for everyone. Pretty good for a chain restaurant.

The food and service was great today when I went but one thing really stood out to me that I feel I need to post on. I never usually post reviews but I can’t get over what happened, I overheard waitresses ask this one table to stop giving their underage daughter alcohol and when they refused the waitress requested that they leave the restaurant and this poor waitress was screamed at, yelled at, belittled, and threatened to come back to the restaurant and be forcibly “shut up” (in lighter terms). I just really want to say how disappointed I am in this disgusting old man and hope the poor young server is okay after being treated so so so grossly, you did amazing, ignore that vile ogre!

The service was good, but the food was very bland and boring. Had the Greek wings and there was barely any flavour. Tasted like fried wings drenched in oil. The jalapeño Mac and cheese was ok, but again very bland. The peppers barely had any heat. The goat cheese was a nice touch though.

Been a couple times and either the food is okay and the service is bad, or the food is bad and the service is okay. We waited about 10 minutes at the front stand just to be greeted and both servers and the manager walked right past us during this time. Manager also doesn't seem to follow their own dress code as she was wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans, not the typical manager look.

Very disappointed that there are no high chairs available. As a mom to a one year old, I had to leave because they tried to seat me at a high top table and expected me to hold my child the whole time. We left and went to Browns across the street, who do have high chairs. Will not visit this restaurant again. Edited to add: Thank you to the district manager for calling me and advising the Chilliwack location is now ordering high chairs and booster seats to have at this location.

i’m absolutely disgusting with the service here. i was in the restaurant yesterday around dinner time. there was a skip driver waiting patiently for her order so she then proceeds to ask one of the servers (after being looked at and ignored) how much longer the order was going to be. she asked very nicely and didn’t seam like she was in a rush whatsoever. the server processed to yell at the skip driver and say “your just a skip driver i don’t have time for this if you have a problem with it speak to the manager”. after witnessing this we decided to leave and take our service elsewhere , it is absolutely disgusting how one of your servers could speak to a person like that.

I hadn't been to any of the original Joe's in quite some time and after visiting this one last night I will definitely be back. The service was outstanding! The girls were so friendly and accommodating. The bacon tomato soup was shared between my bf and I (they split it into two bowls which was awesome) and we both agreed it's one of the best soups weve ever eaten. He had the teriyaki rice bowl and loved it. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We love this place, the beer is awesome. But so disappointed in the new menu. Wish they would ask customers for feedback. May need to find a new place because we are so unhappy with the new menu.

Fantastic gluten free menu.. service was amazing... food was awesome!!!!

We needed to find somewhere to eat quickly because the boyfriend was getting hangry but didn't want fast food. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food was great, but I wouldn't suggest this place if you have a HANGRY person on your hands. We sat for almost 40 minutes after we ordered to get our food and when we originally sat down there were only about 3 other tables with people.

Seriously always good, the bacon jalapeno mac and cheese is to die for. And always great service!! :)

The brussels are to die for, wait staff is great, just about everything on the menu is tasty.

Walked out of the restaurant yesterday. Asked for my usual, fish tacos, sub out fish for pulled pork and the very rude manger told me they have never once made the tacos with substituting fish for pulled pork in his 4 years working there. Lol okay, well I have ordered that over 5 times with no issues thank you. But he continued to be rude and useless in his knowledge of customer service. � � won't be back purely due to ignorant behaviour. Head office should have a little chit chat with their staff �

Seriously good food and friendly staff! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu the tractor nachos are amazing! Fries with dill dip are to die for. Make sure to save room for the mud pie for dessert.

Just had the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and it was delicious! Good friendly service too :)

A hangry detour on the way back from Vancouver led the wife and i to OJs. Talk about a killer lunch! Hoe-LEE. After a couple cold ones the waitress rolled outta the kitchen with some kind of house specialty OJ dog. I came in hangry and left happy. My serving was almost enough for 2. The double butterlfy’d dogs came on a baguette with fried onions and whole bunch of other stuff slathered all over it. I was lovin it. Decent ceasar slad and above average fries to boot. Get down here. The beers cold and the food is on point. <br/><br/>Honourable mention to our waitress. <br/><br/>I dont remember her name.

We haven't been to OJ in some time. I was disappointed to see one of my favourite appy's was taken off the menu, but it was fattening anyway 😉<br/>We went the other night for a birthday and every one of our meals were delicious! The burgers with the garlic bread were so yummy! My wings were the best in town and I hear they're half price on Wednesdays! Drinks were perfect with lots of choices in the beer department. We got a free birthday dessert and our waitress was awesome!! <br/>See you soon!

Fantastic food, nice looking restaurant, horrible customer service, of the whole hour we spent there not a single staff member smiled, and our waitress seemed pissed off, would only recommend take out here

BURGERS!. Haven't tried the appy's, and yes my drink s were watered down...no surprise. But if you go to OJ's for anything go for the burgers! They are MASSIVE, and juicy and amazing! also like the two side option. But seriously, the burgers are out of this world, you'll never want a burger from anywhere else again.

One of our FAVS!. My other half is a chef and pretty picky so when it comes to going out to eat we have over the years eliminated 90% of the places in town but Original Joe's is one of very few places we will DEF go back to for a night out. The food is always yummy, the service is pretty good depending on how packed it is and the staff is usually friendly. We have tried quite a few things on the menu and havent had a complaint about any of it and portion size is great!

I really enjoyed OJs, only my second time there. service is polite....a bit slow. The portions are B I G...but really tasty. Its a bit expensive but nice atmosphere. I will go back again. cant wait to try new things of the menu...hope this restaurant stays with their good quality salads/food and doesn't change anything:)

Very busy! Staff very friendly and busy! Great workers. Food was so slow to come to table! Fish tacos were very good! The guys loved the cheeseburger! Appys were small for price and not the best! Calamari and wings! Would go back! Loud and bar type look

Great food. Having been here several times, I can highly recommend it. Service is usually efficient and friendly. The meals I've eaten there have always been good, and I can highly recommend the fish tacos - definitely my favourite item on the menu!<br/>It can get busy at times, but we've never had to wait too long for a table.

OMG. I waited for 35 minutes before my order was taken and waited over a hour for my food to come. The food wasn't worth the wait. The place wasn't even full. I'll never go back

Our past experiences at original Joe's have always been satisfactory. The food is great, and the service is quick and efficient. However, our most recent visit last week was taken to the next level. We were blown away by the restaurant manager, Trevor. He took the time to visit our table and make sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our food.his attention to detail was evident, and it was also clear to see that he genuinely cared about the restaurant, the customers, and the servers working that night. He made our visit so much more personal and we will definitely be back again.

Nice to have a new place in this town.. Although i guess its not that "new" anymore, my wife and i decided to recently visit this restaurant for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Our experience was so great the first time, that we came back again last week for a second visit. <br/>Too anybody heading to this restaurant, i highly recommend you try the Chilli Lime Chicken. We absolutely loved it.They also have their own draft beers as well as a great selection of pints if thats your thing. Its a great place and we would recommend it to anybody that asked! Thank you to Travis, Amanda and Sara for great service. The food was good too so thank the kitchen - though we didnt meet them :)

Our new favourite spot!!. We just love the new Original Joe's in Chilliwack. My husband and I were looking for a new place to go and chill and let me tell you... this IS the spot! They don't have a lot of different beer on tap (which my husband can be kind of picky) but we've fallen in love with the blonde lager and the light lager. Super clean, crisp and cold!<br/><br/>The few menu items we've had are fantastic as well. We always start out with the wings. Fantastic!! Crispy, juicy and super fresh. The fish taco's are just to die for and normally my hubby has a burger as he is a burger FANATIC, however last night he tried the beef dip... says it's the best beef dip he's ever had!<br/><br/>The service is usually quick and friendly, but if you're waiting for a specific table (we like booths) then you might have to wait a little while. It will get packed between 6 and 7:30ish, so we usually try and go after the rush. We've been a few times now and I don't think we've ever been disappointed. And did I mention the portions? They aren't MASSIVE, but you get a choice of two sides with your main. I highly recommend the fries... they are incredible!!

Im sorry, but the previous poster must be huffing glue! I have been to OJ's many times and have come to love the food, atmosphere and service! The servings are huge, the food is delicious, and the place is busy... So business must be okay for them... Since this is my dedicated watering hole, I feel compelled to stick up for them, so keep up the good work!

3 Times the Charm....... NOT. My husband and I heard about OJ's from a freind who said the food was good, so what the heck we went there for lunch one day.<br/><br/>1. Service was pretty good (little pushy, but good), the food was good as well. Yea..... we found another place we can take the family and eat.<br/><br/>2. So this time is our family diner out night to OJ's, it was pretty busy because we came in on a hockey night (which now was a mistake). My husband's diner was ok (not bad, just ok), but my daughter and I had the beef dip....... Oh my, this was the most horible tasting dried out meat I've ever eaten (didn't eat much of my meal) and I'm very surprised my daughter ate as much as she did (I still don't know how she could eat it) cause this was on the verge of discusting.<br/><br/>I let one of the server's know how we felt about our meals....... We were offered 2 gift certs of $10 each. My opinion is the whole meal should of been comped...... but no, now we gotta come back a 3rd time.<br/><br/>3rd Time the Charm....... NOT<br/><br/>My husband and I came to give OJ's another shot (cause I guess we like punishment). We came in for a lunch meal and wow surprise...... nothing's changed, both our meals were less than adequate. I'm not going to get into how much the meals disappointed us once again, but rest assure we will not be returning again.<br/><br/>Too bad for OJ's...... cause once you get a bad rep for food in this town, it's going to be hard to stay in business. Best of luck..... your going to need all you can get.

Just took my wife there for mother day had two soups and shared a wing appy and desert recommended by a friend the soups were good but the wings lacked flavor and the drinks were watered down and pricey the desert I could have made at home and would have been better I do not recommend this place

First time here. Found it via Urbanspoon then tead reviews. Stacey does it again. Friendly excited about working here and provide exceptional service. Food was excellent but Stacey can't take credit for that as it goes to the kitchen. We'll be back!!!

Nothing to rave about. Hubby and I went here for the time this week and although the service was fantastic, the food and the cost left a lot to be desired. Two appy's and 2 beer came to $40.00 with a small tip. We tried the short ribs which were very overcooked and extremely dry, and the fish tacos had only a few very small pieces of fish, probally not even a 1/4 of a fish fillet between the 2. We won't be returning.

Had a great meal here. Our appy's were good . I must say thier fish taco's were crazy amazing! Waitress might not have been having a good day though and it carried over in her demeanor. Overall a new fun place to eat in chilliwack.

The food was amazing you have to have their chipotle spinach dip it is to die for! The service was awesome, lighting is nice and is a great place to hang with friends and have a couple drinks!

You want me to eaty where???. SMALL restaurant. i mean they have communal tables. what a silly idea. the food was good nithing to rave about but nothing you run away either.

Food was great! Service was excellent!!! Restaurant was exceptionally clean! Our server (Stacey) made sure we were never thirsty!

Ok service , their mojotos leave a little to be desired , but half prices appy on Friday and Saturday nights , u can't go wrong
