Review Alicia's Flavours - Chilliwack

I was doing laundry next to this place and decided to stop by and all I can say it’s wow! Amazing food, environment, staffs. I had a chicken quesadilla with a piña colada and asked for a bit of rice on the side and it was the best one I’ve ever had in my life. Would recommend this place 200% it can get busy because of their amazing meals but it’s worth the wait.

Had the nachos, burrito, and 2 tacos and everything was fantastic! Best nachos ever, came with a delicious cheese sauce that sure beats anything any pubs could serve. The guacamole and salsa were AMAZING and the meat on my tacos was cooked to perfection. “My taste buds are a-prancin’. Even if someone had covid, they could taste all the amazing flavours in this meal” —my very delighted bf.

I would give zero stars if I could Ordered the $16.00 enchiladas, asked for the shredded beef instead of ground beef which would be an extra two dollars. I was fine with that. Food came and it had no taste. Rice was mushy and boring. The red sauce was just plain tomato sauce, the green sauce was ok...asked for hot sauce to add some flavor When the bill came we were charged 2.00 extra per enchilada ( four small ones) and two dollars for the hot sauce So our 16.00 dollar snack became 32.00 Won't be going back. Wish I would have complained but was in shock

Not enough staff, you end up waiting a long time. Meat was a little dry. Portions were small for the price, rice was clearly not fresh, it was all congealed together.

Very good food. I had a chipotle chicken burrito. It was delicious. My wife had tacos which were also great. Their refried beans are top notch. I asked for mine as spicy as they could make it which wasn't all that spicy. The food here is definitely better than Hugo's but not as good as Fiesta Loca. The service was amazing and the restaurant looks much nicer than Fiesta Loca or Hugo's. The burritos here are wrapped in foil and made to be hand-held so this will be my go-to lunch when I move to Chilliwack this weekend. Update 2022: We often go to Alicia's for a delicious, affordable lunch (although not as often as I'd like). A few years ago, I talked about Alicia's not being as good as Fiesta Loca, but I definitely prefer Alicia's now. Recently I ordered a horchata to drink, a taco platter, and a tamale. Previously, I thought I didn't like tamales but apparently I just hadn't tried a good one because it was delicious! I'm kind of craving them several days later. Several years after my initial review, this place has just gotten better. I can't wait to go again.

TL:DR- Meh flavor, bad chips, long wait time. Ordered shrimp fajitas and taco salad with chips and salsa. The chips were old and hard, the taco salad lettuce was uncut and had to be cut at home to be edible. The shrimp was cut like butterfly shrimp which looked great, but the rice was hard and ruined any bite of food when you bit on to one. The bell peppers while fine in taste were so long you had to fold them in half just to put them in your mouth. I placed the order at 7:05 for pickup and didn’t get the food until 7:55 when they closed at 8. Friendly staff, bad cook.

Gone downhill a bit. We used to come here regularely. Service was a bit off and food took quite a while to arrive at our table. Waiter seemed distracted. The menu is very disorganized and confusing. Food was fine. They used to bring a smalk bowl of chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants in town, but now yoy have to pay for it.

Had the fish taco platter and tried all five of the tacos (not all myself we shared lol). Absolutely Amazing!! All the tacos had their own unique flavour and all were to die for!! Warm and welcoming staff and a place I will be coming back too. This is A must eat here kinda place!! I will be bringing every person I know just so I can eat here again and again!!

Far and above the best Mexican food around! I grew up in California and their food reminds me of home. Authentic flavor on the whole menu. Highly recommend!

We have eaten Mexican food all over North America and the world and this has to have been one of the best in a long time. If you do have to wait, it is more than worth it. We will be back and we loved it

first time here today, and will not be the last. I tried the chicken fajitas and a asada taco. Very yummy food, awesome staff and good for gluten free people like me. Cannot wait to go back. Also my fajita platter was so big, it was also my dinner!

We ordered the Taco platter and it was seriously amazing!! Finally a Mexican restaurant where the food doesnt taste so bland!! This is why you will continue to prosper as the best Mexican restaurant around!! Also, Please Please Please!! add ceviche to your appy menu:)) Gracias

We ordered through skip the dishes. Missing an item. The kids enjoyed theirs. I had fajitas which was just drenched in oil and grease. Over an hour wait for the restaurant to make the food. Rice and beans bland. Overall lack of flavor. Prices high for what you get. No sauces (salsa sour cream etc.). Paid the $1 for sour cream - it was less than 2 tablespoons. Ordered the grill jalapenos - 1 lonely pepper for $1. Sadly an overall disappointment and we will not be back. The delivery serve was great - no fault to them.

Went for dinner this evening, everything was delicious! We had shrimp Tacos, fahitas, taco platter X 2 with 5 different flavours. Great place to go!!

Lime margarita is the best I've had; guacamole is mouth watering; Pico de gallo is perfect; tried each one of the authentic street style tacos, every one delicious with the chipotle chicken being my favorite. I'll be back again and again!!

Tasty, fresh, authentic Mexican food! Guac has a nice kick, fish tacos were awesome, staff is friendly. Well done! We will be back!

It was so good love the burn and the horchata helped with that and my mom loves the beans with her taco platter so so good finish with the flan so yummy

I had the Chicken Enchiladas de Mole and they were amazing. Guacamole was the best I've ever had and the salsa that came with the free Tortilla chips was very fresh and flavourful. Will be back again soon because I want this place to stay open, it's very good.

Hubby and I had a late lunch/early dinner today and really enjoyed it. Fresh and hot. The serving sizes were plenty for each of us. Friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going again. :)

I loved the food, atmosphere and service. Everything was very delicious. Best strawberry margarita I've ever had. Can't wait to visit again. :)

Finally. Real Mexican food in the wack. Alambre is amazing. Great drinks as well. Authentic. Simple menu, all good on it. Will be here weekly.

Amazing family owned gem. I've tried about 6 things on the menu so far. Everything is packed full of flavour. Luv how the guacamole has some kick to it. Delicious fresh food prepared with love. Very tasty! Very friendly! Located close to highway. Highly recommended.
