Review The Little Beetle Bistro - Chilliwack

Wow. Saturdays are usually a brunch day for myself and my husband. Since recently moving to the area this place very quickly jumped to the TOP of our list. Walking in we were seated rather quickly. The restaurant itself has so much atmosphere and attention to detail. Quaint, cozy and filled with happy customers. There menu has a lot of breakfast and lunch options, as I usually find my favorite thing and stick to that plate this place makes me want to try everything they have to offer. Food came out quickly, hot, and truly each plate is a work of art. Was blown away by presentation for the price and the taste was even better. Homemade but presented like a 5 star restaurant. The chicken waffle croissant plate was unreal. I didn’t know that a croissant waffle even existed let alone be one of my new favorite things. They topped off our water very timely, which is a huge deal to us and was prompt to take away dirty plates and bill for the meal. You can tell they take pride in their work and the food and service shows it. Thanks for giving me a reason to be excited for Saturday, you’ll see me again.

To me,customer experience was like a concert there! All staffs were laughing and taking care of tables with happy faces and respect in minimum possible time! We reached there in the afternoon and still was a long waiting list there that you can't feel it,as they have "waiting tables" in patio! See,such a thoughtful solution! Foods, price and quality was amazing! Everything was tasty and fresh! Thank you Little Beetle for such an awesome experience you created for us! It's worth to drive more than hour to reach you guys! 🤌🏻👍🏻

Little Beetle Bistro is such a cute little spot. Out near the industrial park, you’d never expect to find such a quaint little space, packed with wooden accents and lush plants, the space is well laid out and even at it’s busiest doesn’t feel cramped or overstuffed. The food is really wonderfully presented, you can tell the kitchen staff really do care about the cuisine and how it goes out. Taste-wise, it’s well above average for the area. We had the Breakfast Croffle (fun to say, fun to eat!) and the Fried Chicken Benny, the latter of which I was cynical as to how those particular things would work together, and it didn’t really, but it all tasted great individually. The hash browns and the wedges were consistently crispy and tasted fantastic. The fried chicken was beautiful fried and moist. Overall, a really lovely brunch and one we hope to repeat in the future.

This place is phenomenal and I was really impressed. We had the clubhouse sandwich and the breakfast burrito for brunch. The quality of the ingredients and presentation matches the delicious flavours. The cafe is very clean and meticulously decorated with amazing plants and decor. There are so many other things on the menu I want to try, and will be back again soon, to knock them off my list.

Amazing Breakfast Place, 10/10. Cute little cafe with great music and vibes. The food was to die for, it blew my expectations away in terms of taste and quality. $$ but definitely worth it. Very busy on the weekend and for food reason.

I love Little Beetle Bistro here in chilliwack. The food is so yummy! I love the atmosphere and the service. Wait times can be long but so worth it. The food is home cooked. Their coffees and specialty coffees are hot and so perfect. I highly recommend and will continue to visit and bring friends there.

Quaint breakfast cafe. Care for food and people evident from the “hello” tshirts on the wait staff to the small vase of flowers they bring to the table. The little beetle special, the salmon Benny, and the avocado were full of taste and made fresh from local food. It was the perfect breakfast with family

Such an amazing amazing brunch place! I loved everything about Little Beetle, it’s such a cozy little hidden spot with huge amount of selection of different breakfast, brunch, lunch and light meals! My family and I went around noon and the restaurant was pretty packed, but they have both indoor seating & patio seating and tons of parking (across the street) too! The pancake platter we got was super affordable, comes in huge portion, everything were delicious! Pancakes were fluffy and paired their blueberry sauce super well The maple butter french toast is probably my favourite, the toast were thick, fluffy neatly fried with smell of maple coating. Super amazing and filling as well. The soup & wrap combo we got was the broccoli cheddar soup with the BBQ pulled pork wrap, wrap was huge and even tightly packed with seasoned pull pork meat, fresh veggies and some rice. We couldn’t finish it all and we packed half to-go. Overall, the atmosphere is great, the staffs are super friendly too. 10/10 the best brunch in Chilliwack!

I haven't a clue how you even managed 3.9. I been twice (with 4 friends and also with my husband, we All thought it) and it was horrible. Cheap cheap cheap. If they can cheap out on just about everything then this is the place for you.

Discovered this cute little place while I was getting my first aid training. Run by Koreans they were super accommodating to me I placed my lunch order for 1 but it was bumped up to 12 they had no problem making my classes food earlier for us. Regardless of being busy with other people. Coffee was great here and panninis are amazing. Would love to see then incorporate korean flavours in.

Great food! Paninis, wraps, sandwiches are all really good. They have a variety of drinks as well, espresso drinks made with wood roasted beans. They are just full of flavours and amazing!

Basic low cost breakfast and ingredients - I can easily make a better breakfast at home, and usually do. I was looking for something a bit better than frozen potatoes and Minute Maid orange juice.

I went there this past Sunday for the very first time. On the way there I was wondering where the heck I was going. Out in the farm lands. It was very well worth it. Had one of the best pork wonton soup. It was delicious. The staff were great as well as the place felt like I had gone back a few years to the old general store. The soup I had was made with home made wontons, veggies and a broth with a ginger flavor to it. To finish it they swirled an egg in it. The others had omlette and no one complained. The service was good and quick even with the place full. We will certainly head back there again.

Came here for the first time today, it was decent. It wasn't the worst, wasn't the best, I'd say it was a fairly average. I got the club sandwich which was okay, and the tomato soup which I didn't enjoy. I did get a London fog to drink, which was really great, one of the better ones I've had in my lifetime. It's kind of a weird set up, I didn't know if I should sit and wait for a menu to be brought, or go up and order, it's kind of a half restaurant half coffee shop. I ended up walking to the front to order because nobody brought me a menu or greeted me when I walked in, so I wasn't sure how it worked. Overall pretty good place, I'll probably come back, I'll probably get something breakfast related instead next time as I've heard their breakfast is great.

Little chilliwack gem. Went in for breakfast. First off the space is very nice, homey feel inside and a beautiful garden patio outside. Got the 6 dollar little breakfast and it was great. Also got a cup of coffee. their coffee is a little on the weak side, but free refills so that's a plus. Service was awesome. Would definitely come back again!

My husband and I have been going to this adorable little cafe for a while now and we love visiting here. The service is excellent, we can always engage in conversation with the waitresses, and the food is always superb. We have tried almost everything there, but our favorites are the sandwiches for lunch, perfect portions for us, and for a heavier meal we love the panini and soup combo. I'm not a big coffee drinker but I do love their Spanish coffee. Definitely one of our favourite places to go!

Not impressed this time. I heard a lot of good things but when I went I had the veggie sandwich......honestly it had one piece of lettuce, 11/2 pieces of tomatoes and 5 very thin cucumbers.....so disappointed....the price if that's all your going to get is unbelievable. We sat outside on the little patio and the weeds we not pretty to look at......you should take the time to clean up around that area. I have had the soup and it was amazing and there coffee is really good. Not sure if I will give it another shot and if I do I won't be getting a sandwich :(

MEATLOAF BURGER IS WONDERFUL!. A fairly newcomer to this area I like to try all the restaurants I can. Came across this little gem quite by accident, not thinking it was really a restaurant, but it was. Small, friendly with a very fresh menu including soups made on site as is almost everything except for the odd pastry. The meatloaf Hamburger is to die for, truly, and anything else I have eaten there is also very good.
If you want good home made fare without cooking it yourself, give them a try.

Cute little place. About a 10min detour off the Hwy. We needed a break from fast food breakfast so we thought we would check it out. Good portions, tasty omelettes, a decent basic breakfast. Friendly service. Good price. Clean and comfortable.

Amazing!!! Wonderful clean decor, amazing specialty coffees and breakfast was delicious! We went for Mothers Day and the owner even gave me a rose! I recommend the meat lovers omlette with tomatoes and onions... So good! I had the breakfast combo and ate it all but ate half my boyfriends omlette because he was so full (I'm pregnant) :p

Great food and coffee!. The Beetle (as I affectionately call it) is a wonderful restaurant. If you're looking for a delicious meal and a good cup of coffee, this is the place to go. The Beetle is charming and cozy, and the staff are always friendly. The coffee is quality, and in my opinioun, they make the best lattes in Chilliwack. I highly recommend it.

Very impressed with this little bistro. This refurbished character house is gorgeous inside and the owners and waitress are very kind/friendly. I always order the bacon and eggs and a piece of banana cake. They only have 3 breakfast items to choose from and the rest of their menu is mainly sanwiches, paninis, soups, salads and a few entrees such as spaghetti and meatloaf. The food is excellent no matter what you order, so you will leave happy with your order. The only I thing I wish is that they would butter the toast with the bacon and eggs. You have to butter your toast yourself. But definately don't leave without trying the baking. I keep going back for the banana cake!!!

Worth the drive!. We visited the (cute!) Little Beetle Bistro tonight for the first time. It is in a beautifully restored character house. I had the meatloaf burger and my husband had the teriyaki beef wrap, both of us had the mushroom soup. We take our food pretty seriously, and this stuff is legit. My burger was very homemade and delicious - great soft bun, juicy herbed meat patty, cheese, sauce, lettuce and pickle. A great burger. The wrap was really good also, especially the beef, which is korean style (bulgogi) beef. The soup was awesome, one of the best mushroom soups ever - lots of different mushrooms - was thick and tasted rich, but had little or no cream, it was great. Although a bit of a different vibe for dinner, we will definitely be back another time, maybe for lunch.

Big Success for Little Beetle.. The food & beverages have always been terrific on every visit. I consider myself a regular. The choices on the menu are all homemade with different specials daily.
If the owner is sitting doing paperwork when I arrive, he stops, rises & welcomes me to his Bistro. He does the same when I'm leaving, with"Thanks".
The Beetle is a great addition to the community.

Maybe "HeartVeggies"should try the lunch menu. A co-worker and I stumbled across this little bistro while working in the area, I have returned many times for the Chicken BBQ wrap, it is amazing. You are always greeted with a "hello" and a smile. It is a clean little establishment and I hope will be around for a long while.

Countryboy. Out for a drive and came across a small café called the Little beetle bistro. It reminds me of the old coffee houses in the sixty's. Where you could get a descent priced meal and coffee and someone had a guitar and someone was singing something you could understand. It took me back to the quiet times where you could enjoy yourself and have your family with you. You could all sing together and enjoy the family time. This is a place to take your family for a drive in the country and have some of the best food I have had in a long time. Go there and enjoy some quiet time with your family. This small cafe is where you and your family can get away from the rat race and get back to the quiet time of the country

Awesome!!!!!!!. First of all, this place is very clean and pleasant. and I like the deck outside where I can enjoy sunshine. The menu I like here is panini. I love to eat 3 kinds of panini listening to the music from fantastic audio system.Coffee is really super!
They serve enough quantity to enjoy the meal. I like their welcome smile all the times. Highly recommended to visit.

My wife and I saw this very fine building on a site which housed a rundown junk shop for as long as we have lived in the area. {19 years} Now named the Little Beetle Bistro, a cafe offering a good selection of sandwiches and panninis along with coffees and pastries. The food was nicely prepared and served and I can recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a light meal in pleasant surroundings.

Breakfast. PROS: Clean. Adorable, modern decor. The desserts that were in their display case looked rather tempting. Coffee was good!

CONS: Very small menu -- only 2 breakfast selections! The food was rather bland, and the portions were some of the smallest I have ever had! 2 tbsp of hashbrowns... I was hoping for a couple more than that! The prices are reasonable, but the quality of food just didn't line-up with. Overall, the breakfast was rather disappointing.

The bistro is busy with most of the tables filled with patrons chatting about things like the newest stretch stitch option on their Pfaff. The restored deep blue building sticks out from its neighbours, in this area that's predominately an industrial park.
