Review L'etoile De Mirabel - Chicoutimi

We have been coming here for years, food is good, the waitresses are fantastic. Unfortunately, since the restrictions have been lifted, they play the music TOO LOUD. no longer a relaxing place. I don't go to a disco for a pizza, and I won't go to l'Étoile for music. Too bad, we liked it there. 2 stars because everything is good/great except the atmosphere.

Place has a decent modern look. Took quesadillas with a salad. Salad was a bit stale but Quesadillas were on point. Service was Good.

It is sad this use to be my favorite family resturant. From what I was told there is 2 owners. Now it has been a few times I have had bad service.I ordered a steak and when I told the waitress the steak was raw I was refused another steak or fix the issue because I took 2 bites...The waitress was very appologetic and had agreed with me. I brushed this off to being the bad manager that was there. We stopped going for awhile...we use to eat at least 2 x a week and we are a family of 5 people. that's not chump change.The second issue was when my brother n law passed by after work 11pm and ordered a steak sub. He opened the sub and showed us the was 3 slivers of steak and nothing else..I asked if he wanted me to call he said not to bother.He will never order from there again...now tonight I ordered penne sauce rosee only half the tin they forgot the cheese,and a club sandwich,now when I bit into my club which is cut in half not 4 pieces (if it was I would of seen there was no chicken)by the second bite I was looking for the chicken I could only taste mayonnaise and bacon. I opened my bread and saw a piece of chicken the size of my finger the uneaten side had 2 piece of chicken the size of my thumb short and skinny. Now I paid 15.00 and 14.50 for the penne total 33.92 tx included plus 3 dollar tip. This is not cheap.So I called the restaurant I explained to him I was disatisfied and offered a photo to be sent I explain the was less chicken the a happy meal at mc Donald's.I could see the man who answered the phone was uncomfortable answering what or who ever was telling him what to say. He told this time around there is nothing he could do. Next time he would fix it. I told him have yourself a happy New year but I will never order there again.I work hard for my money and I don't mind paying extra for good food. But he is taking advantage of his customers. SHAME ON THEM.YOU TAKE PEOPLES MONEY BUT DON'T DELIVER THE FOOD OR SEND HALF THE QUANTATIE

I have yet to eat inside, we always do takeout and delivery. I refuse to eat pizza from anywhere else on the north shore. Pizza is always done right, with quality ingredients (seriously best tasting cheese ever). They NEVER get our order wrong and delivery is fast! I will continue to order from them as long as I possibly can!

Great place for breakfast. Deli style. The lunch menu is pretty decent too. Good prices and service is good

Great place for when you're too lazy to cook. The food is O.K. and some items are better than others but the prices are cheap so I can't complain.

Went there with 2 other people for breakfast. Quick service. Plates were full of specialties. Really worth the trip.
