This has always been our favorite place to stop as we come to Chester twice a year for the past 10 years. This year was a different experience. We usually get the Scallops but opted out and got the chopped hamburger and fries. It was good. Noticed new ownership and decor change. We we’re sad to see
Been here twice. Once last summer and once this spring. First time it was very busy. This time a little slower. The first time the fish was golden brown, cooked perfectly. The second time the batter was dark brown and yet the inside was a bit wet still, suspecting old fryer grease this time. Colesla
Wow, i have to edit my previous review.. maybe it was just a bad day,, but it seems more like there may be new owner, or management, at least the staff has changed. But whatever the reason, it seems things have gone down hill,, and quite badly. It really was great a t, food last year, but ...not

Amazing place for genuine homemade food. If you’re looking for a great place for a lobster roll, you will find it here. The classic cheeseburger and fries was absolutely yummy. The lobster roll was full of meat and perfectly seasoned and plentiful. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable
The portion size was great , Pan Fried Haddock $$ , very reasonable . The Waitress was very Friendly and efficient 5 stars to Her .
Lackluster food. Told us they didn't have hand-cut fries like was on their menu, they were frozen only. We ordered the pan-fried haddock that was supposed to come with vegetables on the side and they informed us they were out of carrots and peas and could only give us fries. Greasy food.
Fish and chips. Fish was excellent but the chips were not so great. The seafood chowder was very pleasant and seems to have been made to order; not scooped out of a pot that had been sitting all day.
