Review Hojo's Japanese Cuisine - Charlottetown

The best Japanese restaurant in PEI and it is the only one owned by Japanese. Although it may be a little more expensive, it is because the ingredients are the best!!!And I suggest you try the Vegan Miso ramen, but if you like BBQ pork or Chicken, just leave a note:BBQ pork/chicken instead of soy meat. Katsu don and Gyudon also very delicious!!!It is worth a shot.

Update: their ramen is still not recommended but seafood dish like sushi, sashimi, and nigiri is top notch in town! A satisfied and pleasant experience. Mid-range & authentic Japanese restaurant in town. Professional & well trained staff in a warm atmosphere. I really like the smart ordering system. Food quality is good, I like the roll more than the ramen because the soup tastes a little bit bitter to me. Will be back another time to try other dishes.

This is the best, freshest, most delicious sushi burrito I have ever had. A work of art. Highly recommended.

A highly recommended Japanese restaurant, feels like the most authentic Japanese restaurant on the island, the service is good and the food is delicious.

Food is good. But a bit pricy. Expect to pay 16-18$ for ramen. 30$+ for sushi. Very spacious. Atmosphere is decently post modern with an oriental touch. Parking is public. No disability ramp. Quiet, atmospherics. Not the best place for larger family gathering and more like an anniversary getaway.

Love ordering their frozen Tonkatsu ramen to go. Very friendly staff, and the absolute best ramen you can get in Charlottetown, hands down! Always hits the spot, especially on a chilly day. Thanks for being awesome!

Frustrating lunch take-away experience When I came to the shop and said order take away. The staff gave me the menu and I ordered lunch ramen which price at $11. But the bill said $18!!!! I asked the staff what's the reason, he said the price for dine in. and the ramen charged $18 with bigger portion. I told him that I don't need any bigger portion but lunch ramen portion. He said no such option. But day 1, he showed me the lunch menu and never said that no applicable!! What a frustrating lunch experience I had!!
