Review Maid Marian's Diner - Charlottetown

Went here just before leaving PEI and although its standard diner fare, everything tasted so so fresh and I especially liked the sausages. Not to mention every potato I ate on the island tasted phenomenal.

This is our go to breakfast place on the island. Wonderful food and service. Priced affordably. You will need to arrive early if you do not want a long wait. Also parking can be tricky if you are not there early. This is a popular island eatery and for good reason. We have never been disappointed!

We stopped in here for breakfast prior to our flight back to Ontario. The meal was fantastic! Huge portion size, price was reasonable and the food was delicious! To top it all off the waitress was amazing, so friendly and we enjoyed our chats with her. I believe her name was Fiona originally from Britain such a sweet lady.

Great breakfast and lunch restaurant friendly fast service. The food and service deserve 5 out of 5 stars, the only real downfall to this restaurant was the bathrooms needed to be kept cleaner there was quite an odor we're generally just dirty and was easy to see that they just weren't cleaned enough. A detail that must be taken care of for a positive dining experience

This is a must dine in Charlottetown! Diner style place, charming. Good food, portions and very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and great service too. If you like a bit of a diner feel with traditional foods, I recommend it.

Picked up a cinnamon bun to go and WOW. The thing was massive and very tasty.

Food was mostly good, one piece of fish in my fish dinner was almost all batter, and cooked crispy hard. The fries and coleslaw were good.. not a whole lot of interest in reparing the situation when I brought it to the servers attention..

We went to the Maids last Thursday for turkey dinner and it was extremely satisfying. The meal was huge with homemade everything--turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, turnip, and cranberry sauce all for $8.29! The food was so tasty, the service fast, efficient, and friendly. We took home some coconut cream pie and carrot cake and they were huge portions and the flavor was incredible. Best place in town to eat and you can't beat the taste, price, and personable staff. We will be back for sure!

Would like to rate this as a no star.Arrived at the restaurant in a group of seven ,was ushered to a booth, table that was not cleaned off ,the waitress was not friendly and was rude as she told us all she could do was put a chair at the end of the booth. We ordered our food 3 of us ordered the special which was Corned Beef and Cabbage for $7.95 ."Wow what a deal" so we thought.Can you imagine our surprise (Me being a Newfoundlander and the rest of the group Cape Bretoners) when our meal came with a heap of french fries. When we question why we were told they had no potatoes......PEI no potatoes??????. We refused the meal and then were told they found enough potatoes for 2 meals, when the meals arrived we wondered where they found potatoes looked like they were leftovers . A very disgusting meal.Service was horrible.Have been reading the reviews on this page and can see many people did not have a good experience at this diner,I also see Maid Marian has only commented on the good experiences,no apologies what so ever. Needless to say we did not go there again .Have to say this was the only bad experience of our 4 day stay. Great service and food at all other places.

Even though there was a bit of a line when we arrived it moved quickly. Service was great and the food delicious with super fast service once you place your order. Prices are great! We are visiting from Truro and I highly recommend this place :)

I think maid Marians is great place to go for great food and great service I go there every chance I get and the staff is friendly .best service ever I highly recommend it everyone

Ate here for breakfast. Waited a while for a menu. Asked 3 different waitresses for a top up of coffee no no one came till we were done. On person with us got fed up and went to get his own coffee. Waitresses not very friendly. Haven't been here for a while and won't be going back!! On a good note the breakfast was good.

Absolutely incredible food, and service! Friendly staff, amazing food and the price is phenomenal!! Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone! Great experience!!

We eat at Maid Marion's at least once a week! The food is always delicious ,we have never been disappointed.. The service is always fast and very friendly.. Can't beat this place to dine..

We were looking for a traditional breakfast at a reasonable price and we found that. Breakfast menu has enough variety that anyone can find something they like. I had pancakes, hubby had the King Edward special. Meal arrived quickly and coffee was refilled. It was very busy but service was good. Price was vey reasonable. Customers were lined out the door when we left..... we'd go back.

There was a line out the door waiting when we got there, didnt have to wait very long tho. Was an even longer line out the door when we were leaving. It's that good! :P

Fantastic food! Always fresh and huge portions. And those desserts!!!! Waiting in line is to be expected. The place is always busy! Once your order is taken though your food is out quite fast. Great waiting staff as well. Treated like royalty!

Great place to eat, been there a lot, excellent service, good food and great prices.

The food was delicious, the staff are friendly and very attentive to their guests. The food is ready in minutes. You really should try the pie. Home made....soooo good!
