Went there twice, coffee is pretty tasteless and watered down, not really worth its price. Pastries are kinda low quality, as well. I like the design inside and it's a good place to hang out or study. Staff is relatively friendly and helpful. It's not a "wow" place, but it works if it's the closest coffee shop to go to.

Went for breakfast. The coffee was very good. Scrambled eggs (scrambled the only option with the salmon breakfast) were not great. Croissant and salmon were okay. It’s really more coffee shop (good coffee) with food as an afterthought.

The Kettle Black is quickly becoming my favourite spot to eat in town! They offer so many different delicious vegan baked goods, which can be incredibly hard to find around town, as well as an amazing falafel, burrito bowl, and hummus wrap! Oh- and the staff are always so friendly! Thank you for being so accommodating!

I can't get over the ambience, food, coffee (obviously), quality of service, and how accessible the place is (including wheelchairs). It's has beautiful exposed brick and wooden beams while interiors with spot lights, hanging lights, comfy seating and chalk boards completing the look.

I have had breakfast there a couple times and it has been both really really good. I received my food at a reasonable time and they were very accommodating when I wanted to have feta instead of cheddar. Very impressed that they also have options for vegans. Really tasty food! And really good coffee.
