Review Monte Carlo Grill & Pizza - Castlegar

If I had to rate this restaurant over all I rate it 10/10. Everything from the food to the service was top notch. I would , and have recommended this asablishment. To anyone wanting food that tastes as good as it looks. Come eat here. Worth every penny. Thank u to the staff and the cook for such amazing food and friendly service.

Not impressed with breakfast today. Went in with 6 people(3 adults and 3 kids) ordered 4 adult breakfasts and 2 kids breakfasts. They wanted to charge us for extra jam/peanut butter saying that only 1 packet for each piece of toast. The only brought 4 jams even though there was 8 pieces of toast. Service was also terrible no refills for coffee and when asked for a refill they asked if we wanted another cup with an extra charge instead of just refilling our current coffee cups. Never again!

This place used to be my favourite breakfast place in Castlegar but everything went downhill. The food was average at best, with hashbrowns that were both burnt and wet. The coffee tasted burnt and smelled just as bad. The service was...almost non existent...took 20 minutes to even get menus and about another 10 to get our drinks (on a very slow and calm morning). People who arrived after us got served before us, and we got served before people who were there prior to our arrival. Tables stayed dirty from previous customers for about 20 minutes, so much so that there was no clean table and a new elderly customer decided to leave after waiting awhile to have a place to sit without any luck. Absolutely abysmal experience today...

Had a pretty good experience, the food was hot and the hash browns were amazing and well seasoned, the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the entire time we were there the manager? Owner? She was screaming at her staff and you could hear it everywhere, really took away from the nice relaxing breakfast I was hoping for

A large, clean space with friendly staff. My meal was well made and a generous portion. This place feels like a "Denny's" style restaurant, with all the basics you'd want in a restaurant.

Went for breakfast with the family as the reviews looked decent. Food was truck stop style, nothing over the top. Likely would not go again as our bill was $76 for 2 adults and 2 kids for food that we found was "just okay".

A long wait for service from a not busy restaurant. 1 and 1/2 hour wait for an order of pancakes and an order of bacon and eggs. The food was good.

Best breakfast around. Big portions, good price and great tasting traditional breakfast
