Review Pizza Workz Restaurant - Carp

Been ordering from here for 10 years and it has steadily gone downhill over time. Ordered pizza and poutine tonight and the poutine tasted weird. Upon closer inspection the curds were moldy. I called to tell them and they told me the curds are supposed to be like this...

Literally the worst pizza experience I have ever had. Call in a delivery. 2 hrs late. No apology. The kid shows up. $67 for a large and a medium. The boxes are freezing cold. I say it’s been two hours and the pizzas are freezing and you want me to pay $67 for two pizzas? Who the hell charges $67 for a medium and a large pizza? Also 2 hrs late? A business doomed to fail. Horrible.

The only positive thing about this restaurant is their delivery time. Unfortunately the pizza was absolutely disgusting. The sauce tastes like nothing. Extremely bland. The pepperoni and cheese tastes like rubber. The Cheese was also not melted at all, and the dough was basically raw. I called back and politely told them the issue and I was laughed at and hung up on. I myself work in customer service, and this is not how you treat someone. If you want my opinion don’t waste your money here. Very disappointing.

Pizza Workz has gone out of business at this location but has been replaced by an awesome pizza place.

Ordered from here for the first time this evening. Delivery time was earlier than the estimate, and that’s always a bonus! The pizza I ordered was perfect, the poutine was good (far better than most pizza place poutines). The garlic dipping sauce was also great! I have no complaints what so ever! Will definitely order again soon.

There are at least 4 choices of pizza joints I can choose from but these guys are by far the best. Has there been some minor issues, yes, but they are always wanting to make it right if there is a problem. Sounds weird for a pizza place review but, they are a very honest crew when it comes to delivery times.

We had a Hawaiian and a pepperoni pizza last night! Both were absolutely delicious. Their creamy garlic sauce is some of the best garlic sauce I’ve ever had! They had a tiny bit of a snag with the delivery but were awesome at addressing the issue. 100% will be ordering again!

The positives : Pizza arrived hot. Crust felt homemade. Not greasy. Plenty of toppings. The downside for us really is a preference issue : If you enjoy your pizza with toppings burried under cheese, you will probably enjoy this pizza. However, in our household,we prefer our toppings on top! We took a chance due to a picture on your website. Do you even make that pizza? Do you offer a pepperoni on top option? If not, I recommend replacing this picture with those of food you have prepared at this location. It was decent pizza... Just deceiving.
