We went to the newly opened location in Canmore last night and had a great experience. We sat at the bar, where Jake was our bartender, and he was great! I said the kind of beers I liked and he put together a flight for me that I very much enjoyed. He did the same for one of my friends and then made a mixed drink based on my friend’s preferences too. All of the staff were friendly and more than generous in providing tips for where to go for food, drinks, and some less touristy lakes and such. Overall, great experience and will absolutely recommend this place to others.
Great menu and even better beer. Our drinks came out quick and our meal was very tasty. Our server from Australia was wonderful. A great experience and where we eat after a day of skiing.
What an amazing place! Nothing but great things to say about the staff, beer & food! Simply amazing! I will be back. Suggestion: Their sweet potatoe fries are a must have!
It's a great place for both food and drink! The patio is awesome, as well as great staff!
Loved it!! Wait was short and we got the best, sunniest spot on patio!! Walked the Rocky mountain Soap walk at Nordic centre and went to the grizzly paw for celebration beers
To all the nay sayers on here...this place is great. Service is top notch. We were told 25 min wait for a table, we waited no more than 10. Staff was more than helpful when asked about menu items... food and drink and gave great recommendations. Food is super delicious, drinks are amazing. We would definitely come back here again.
We went for a tour of the brewery this past weekend and it was a highlight of our trip to Canmore. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The beer was tasty and they had a good variety of types to taste! Highly recommend
Always an amazing experiance. Yes it can get busy, but the food, the locally made beer and sodas as well as the service are top notch. I have been eating here since 2009 and it's always a great experiance.
Great beer, restaurant and patio. No visit complete without a stop at the Paw Shop.
Husband and I were very impressed with this place. We made a reservation ahead of time and I think it was a good idea as the place was full. I was in awe at the beautify and architecture of the building, the views of the mountains were amazing. Husband and I both had a pizza and they were delicious. I had the mushroom pizza and I’d say there just a salty factor missing to it, but other that that it was great. I had the raspberry ale and it was very good. Husband was happy that they had alcohol free beer options as well. Overall we had a great experience, the service was really good too.
This was a really unique experience, right from when you walk in the doors! You have to take the elevator upstairs to the restaurant, and it opens up to a very unique space with a cool vibe.
I highly recommend the flight of beer so you can try as many of their beers as possible! I found that the majority of their beers are quite "hoppy", but there's still options for all tastes. I was very impressed with their appetizers - very unique dishes. The entrees were delicious and very filling as well. The dessert menu was fairly basic, but it's not really a place you'd go for that!
Definitely recommend for something a bit different. Makes a great date night!
Great service and amazing atmosphere. The beer selection had something for everyone. The hummus is amazing and truly would go just for that. The burger was good but a bit disappointing since it was the same size as the kids burger but almost double the price. The ratatouille pizza was well cooked but the flavour was very "one note".
We will be back for the hummus and beer but maybe not for mains!
The Grizzly paw brewery has a restaurant at the top of the building. Nice huge room that seats many. Good food and service. Their cocktails were pretty good if you are not a beer enthusiast. Recommend the Watermelon Caipirinha. Food was quite good and included a kids menu too.
Came here on a Sunday night for dinner. Interior is nice and spacious and has a wonderful view of the mountains. Service was quick and friendly, food was tasty as well (I liked that there were healthier options - they don't serve fries at this location). My only complaint would be that there could be more food options, but I get that it is a brewery and people are mainly here for the drinks. Food is on the pricier side, but you are paying for the beautiful views. Worth a try if you are in the area!
Reservations recommended - they are only open Thurs to Sun.
Ben was our server! Despite being busy and having to wait 20 min, our service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had no problem waiting at all because the food was worth it. I am also a server and I know how stressful it can be when overloaded in the restaurant and my friends and I were impressed. Props to the kitchen for making us full and for the service team making our experience enjoyable. I will be recommending this place to my friends/family. P.S. try the Charcuterie board and the sticky ribs. Thanks Ben! (had to post my review twice in case it got lost in another website)
You can’t beat these views. Tank310 has the most amazing atmosphere out of any restaurant/brewery I have ever visited. The restaurant is on the top floor and has a panoramic view of the mountains in the distance, absolutely beautiful.
The food was also very good. We started with the Cornbread Skillet ($12) which was good, and for the main course I had the Brisket Sandwich ($23) which was delicious.
The brewery had some very nice beer on tap as well, my favourite being the Evolution IPA.
The restaurant is kid friendly and both of my kids (age 2 and 6) enjoyed the food. Server brought out stuff for them to colour on which was nice and kept them busy as well. Their brewery doesn’t make just beer they also dabble in Soda which was also nice for both kids.
We would definitely go back when visiting Canmore.
