Review Kfc - Campbell River

Went in and ordered 1 kids chicken tenders, one toonie Tuesday special and a couple biscuits and got over charged. Then when going thru bag realized they gave me & charged me for 2 kids chicken tender meals when I only ordered one. They need to learn to focus on the customer in front of them and let the person in drive thru handle the drive thru.

Ordered 2 seperate 6 PC's chicken tenders packs ,one box came with a few small ones ,and the other box came with only 4, when I phoned Sharin said that it couldn't be they always put 6 in the box ,basically saying I was wrong,lying or couldn't count,still not sure Wich one she meant,I explained I could count just fine thanks, she offered me 2 single tenders on my return visit when I ordered my next meal ,but then changed her mind I guess and said a replacement box of six ,I guess she was assuming I was coming back. I politely said that probably wasn't good enough to compansate for the troubles ,and I think the worst part of the experience was KFC telling me I was wrong at first. Small portions lately ,or wrong order ,and lack of staff training on how to talk to customers.Im hoping they read this and get better.

Ordered 3 piece meal. Came with the skinniest breast and wing I have ever seen and a drumstick. No side was in the box. Drive thru is risky here I guess.

Unfortunately this location is terrible the chicken is either tasteless or greasy as all hell . The last time we went to the location ordered food the chicken was soggy ; the lettuce was old an the food just had no flavour what’s so ever.. filed a complaint an the supervisor did nothing to resolve the issue

Friendly team member served me, very pleasant. Tables clean and an enjoyable experience.

This location is always hit or miss. Sometimes you go and the chicken is fresh and juicy, the gravy is perfect, and the fries are fresh and delicious. Next time you go and you'll get greasy puny chicken pieces, gravy that looks and tastes like they bought packages at superstore, and fries that were made some time in the sixties. Consistency would sure be appreciated, but it's the only location for miles around, so they get away with this behaviour.

I've driven to Campbell from comox multiple times for dinner only to find they are lying about their hours online. Apparently they close at 6:30 not 11. Their consistency is terrible anyway lees chicken is way better and they keep their hours updated.

What can you say... Typical for KFC in my opinion. 4 piece original recipe chicken box w/ fries, coleslaw salad and side of gravy. Quick, hot, and of course the side of gravy was amazing. So unfortunate not to have a location in Comox Valley. Nice however to have a reason to visit Campbell River or Nanaimo. Will be back!
