I noticed on our way home after leaving the drive thru at the A & W location in the Discovery Harbour Shopping Center/Campbell River this afternoon, that there were no fries in my young son's bag of food (I had ordered him a combo meal). I had to turn around and drive back to the drive thru to get m

Ordered fries..no small only medium available...ok. paid about $4 for a miniscule amount. Asked for decaf, none available... ok. Given a number, fries will be brought to my table. Ten minutes later, went to remind staff about my fries. The store wasn't even busy..I'm not going back.

Well needless to say I can't say much about this location , as again come to this location order my regular double mozza no lettuce an chubby chicken no lettuce an what do I get lettuce .. yes its not a big deal yet maybe follow the instructions given.. The food was fresh & hot. Loved the icy cold root beer in a frosted mug. The restaurant was clean, friendly staff. Very impressed with A & W!

Orders were correct and service was quick, patio area was well maintained.

This location is pretty damn good but not perfect. Order is right like 89% of the time which is very high

Not what you get if you think this will be "fast food". I have gone here several times, each time thinking the pace would be quicker. The food is exactly what you expect from A&W, but this has to be THE world's slowest drive thru. It's like they make every order after it has been placed.

The all canadian breakfast is a real treat at a fair price. I feed my son before school from here and its great everyday. We usually sit at the excellent Tyee spit to enjoy it.
