Review Honey Lemon Grill - Campbell River

Food was acceptable, but way overpriced. Not pleased with the service, I’ve come in more than once and the lady is chatting on the phone. It doesn’t seem like taking orders is her priority. I didn’t feel valued as a customer. I wouldn’t mind the price if the service was better. Unfortunately this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in Campbell River so I guess there isn’t much motivation to improve. I would definitely come more often if it wasn’t for the poor service. The environment isn’t very warm or welcoming.

We went to this restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent! Portion sizes were decent for the price. Customer service could’ve been better, but the food made up for it. We were the only ones dining in so it was very laid back.

Likely the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. The woman who took our orders was so rude and abrasive. The Pho was fine. The menu overall is sooo overpriced. The spring rolls were tiny and $9 for 3, the deep fried tofu ($14.95) was basically a bowl of raw onion and otherwise not seasoned. Would not recommend.

I dont mind the rude service @ Vietnamese restaurants if the food is good, it seems like a common thing for some reason. But your food is half a$$, your should learn to be more humble. You should learn to respect the people that support you… atleast make a minimal effort

The Pho was average. Nothing to excited. The service was not all that friendly. It’s good if the pho came with all the ingredients with the start instead of checking if we needed the bean sprouts and basil. Anyway this is a decent place with the limited options in Campbell River.

First time there and wasn't impressed. I recently had Pho in Langley and it was spectacular and had be hooked so I wanted to try it here in town. The ingredients were not very fresh. "Rare Beef" was overcooked and rubbery. The basil leaves were wilted. The soup was also not very hot and not a lot of flavour. I had to add a ton of hoisin and hot sauce. Felt rushed, server never checked on me. The salad rolls were like plastic.. not sure if something wrong with the rice wrap itself but I actually spat up some of it because it was hard like plastic. Was also $30 for a small bowl and two small salad wraps. Maybe they were just having an off day but I doubt I'll be back. They also close at 2 and make you pay before you eat. I wouldn't have tipped if I had of known the quality.
