Review Steiner Bakery - Campbell River

I was passing through town and had exceptionally good baking here! They have these raspberry oatmeal cookies that are thin and crispy, yet oh so chewy on the inside, and the oatmeal/raspberry combo is delicious! Walnut apple blackberry muffin was humongous and also a great combo of flavours. The Bakewell tart could have had a little more cherry to it, bring on the cherries!! :p Chocolate mocha cheesecake was decadent and delightful, incredibly creamy and looked stunning, it's a showstopper for sure! If you are anywhere near Campbell River, do check this place out. They also make a ton of bread, donuts, pastries, and many other items I did not have the opportunity to try. The staff were friendly and accommodating as well, thanks for the pleasant experience :)

The absolute best apple fritters. Once you experience apple fritters with Apple, not just Apple flavoring it's a whole new pastry experience. The owner has put together something amazing with this bakery

Steiner Bakery is a small time bakery in a growing city It's a Gem you hope you never lose. It has a delicious variety of baked goods including Donuts,Cupcakes, cookies, brownies,cream horns ect. Buns, Croissants & bread loafs with Gluten free options. Hearty soups made daily that pair well with one of their satisfying sandwiches of Roast beef, ham or turkey. Noon is extremely busy & I recommend calling in your order although it's worth the wait in line if you don't.

Fresh baked goods. How can you go wrong. Excellent pecan butter tarts!

I've been meaning to try this place out since I moved to CR. Oh-h-h-kay, so I know ONE of the employees! The thing is, all of them do what's needed, together, and will give you an awesome flavor experience with great service!! Try out the sausage roll or maybe an apple fritter. Mmmmm, I'm getting hungry. Oh, their bread is second to none! Family owned and operated, you'll get a great friendly environment to munch out at. Enjoy!!!

I always find a way to make it here when I come to the island. it's been here as long as I can remember and it's just as good today as it was when I was a kid. I love to take my children here now and load up on there birds nest cookies!

I don't think their fritters are as good a lot of people on here are saying. They are very oily and taste like deep fried dough. Can't taste any other flavour because the oil is too strong. Their sandwiches however, are awesome and fresh and the prices are good to go here.
