I ordered halibut and salad but I did not receive halibut. It wasnāt steaky, it was mushy/soft like cod. I donāt eat fish and chips too often but I decided to swing by here a few weeks ago. It was pretty decent; everything was crispy, the batter was light and flaky and the fish was cooked nicely. If thereās one suggestion Iād make, itād be for Cazās to make their own tartar sauce
The "cod and chips" I ordered was good, but not the best fish and chips I've ever had. I was very disappointed that this longstanding, "best in town" joint served pre-made tartar sauce. When fish & chips is your only specialty, it should go without saying that you develop your own tartar sauce.
