Mango milk with pearls is the best!! I also like black sugar black tea milk foam, so delicious.

Very cute little Japanese cafe. Their bubble teas are amazing. Use fresh milk, real fruit, loose leave tea!!! Their black sugar pearls is so tasty. Lots of different Japanese comfort food in their menu. Love their Ramen, house-made broth is full of favours. Love their Japanese Curry Chicken too, not too many places offer authentic Japanese curry! Highly recommended.
Had the spicy ramen, fishballs, dynamite roll and the salmon combo. All delicious, very fast service. Just what we wanted. Would come back no question.
Very friendly staff. Clean and cozy but small, with seating for only 12. Very good sushi. Large portions at a good price. Everything came quickly. Will definitely be back!
First time trying Sushi Crave and I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in and it's a tiny 12 seat hole-in-the-wall and are mainly takeout. I sat in and tried the beef tetaki, spicy tuna roll, and both forms of scallop Nigiri. Everything was fresh and tasty, especially the beef tetaki. FYI the spicy tuna roll has the Korean hot sauce not spicy mayo if that's what you're into.

Tiny shop but huge portions, bring an appetite. Just found the shop as we moved near by. Glad we stopped in in a whim tonight. Only wish they had ika sugatayaki.

We were in a bit of a rush, and the food came quickly but was absolutely delicious.
Our order consisted of the one combo (dynamite roll, Cali roll and some nigiri) and some added on sushi/nigiri.
We just had water, but it was really nice to see the free unlimited green tea. Good to know they're not charging an extra $1.50 - $2.00 per person for green tea.
The rolls are quite large, and we left feeling definitely full. Given our bill being about $35 after tax and tip, we thought this was a great alternative to Kinjo.
We will definitely be back, although probably for takeout, as the restaurant is not huge, and the tables are super close to one another.
Was looking for a new sushi place to find. I gave sushi crave a try and it was pretty good. My only complaint would be the small amount of fish on their sushi. Very thin pieces, the rice was a a little over board Maybe. But the prices and amount you get is worth it if you're looking to stuff the boiler.
Ordered take out here based on reviews as our usual sushi spot (Li-ao in Bridlewood) has been going downhill recently in terms of quality. We ordered a few different rolls, the 78pc party platter, teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken. All the food was fresh, tasted great and exceeded expectations. Will definitely go back again!
My favorite place to go, hands down. I most defiantly overindulge when I get my take out here, which at their low prices is very easy for me to rationalize. They have the best California rolls I have come across. Try their unique chicken roll (my second fav).

For a small shop, Sushi Crave uses some unique sauces on generously portioned rolls. The mustard mayo and teriyaki sauce seems to be a favourite, making the roll quite sweet with a very mild kick. It's slathered over rolls like the Volcano and the Spicy Tuna Toon Rolls which makes them quite messy. Especially considering the size is just large enough to make it difficult to fit in your mouth.
Each of the special rolls average at about $20+. Due to their ability to fill you and some unique flavours, it's a good price point.
The simple rolls like the spicy salmon has a nice spicy sauce. It has a decent spicy but manageable kick. Sushi Crave's bowls are also pretty simple with chicken and don katsu at the $12 price. Lots of traditional choices on the menu to choose from and for lunch there are a few box combos at the $15 price point.
It's a really small shop with only a few tables making it a quaint storefront, I think because of this and the neighbourhood they're in, they push the take-out option. But if you can get in it's a decent sushi stop for a small group.

I really love this neighbourhood sushi joint. It's small but bright and cheery and the owners are always very friendly. We have had both take out and stayed in for sushi and it is always fresh and delicious. I love that they don't drown their spicy tuna rolls in that nasty orange mayo crap, but use a more translucent spicy sauce which packs a nice punch. They always have my favourite hokkagai (surf clam) and the shrimp tempura is really good. On a recent visit I tried the Mango Paradise roll which had a neat mustard mayo sauce which went really well with the mango. I always order either ginger ale or sake with my sushi but they do have complimentary green tea. I would have some but I am opposed to styrofoam cups.
Great value and quality!. Only recently found out about this place so maybe the old owners had lesser portions but now it's some great quality sushi at a very good price. The salmon sashimi is the thickest and fresh I've had anywhere. The rice is here in the nigiri sushi is perfect texture and temperature. Best to go here just for the sashimi and nigiri as the rolls are just OK.

I have bedding down three for 10 years, and I finally found a good sushi place! The staff here are lovely and the food is exceptional! The food is extremely well priced, fresh and quick! It is her new favorite place by far!
Wonderful!. I was dying for sushi, so I stopped in. The staff was super friendly, and when I asked if I could have a roll without salmon on top, and said just the vegetarian part of it would be fine, she offered to replace it with tuna, which was fantastic, and she really didn't have to do it.
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced, and fast. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area.
Get take-out. This place is obviously meant for take-out. Seating for about 10 people, but not really a dine-in experience. You still order from the counter and pay ahead of time. The food shows up in styrofoam containers, with lids and everything. This is not a bash, I'm just saying you may want to grab take-out and not expect a restaurant experience if you stay. The prices are great, many nigiri sushi for only $1/pc! The sushi is really good (I especially like the rolls with mango) and so is the tempura. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the miso soup. It came out luke-warm, salty, had almost no seaweed, and absolutely no chunks of tofu.
Very Impressed. It's not often you take something to a staff function to have people seek you out to ask where your dish came from. Very pretty presentation - I don't eat Sushi but from all the oohs and ahhhhs, it was a super big hit. They asked for the name and location and considering that sushi is available everywhere it seems, that says something! Will be taking this to other functions, too!
One of the best sushi places in Calgary! The staff is always so friendly and the service when you eat in is phenomenal. Take out orders are ready in under 10 minutes highly recommend eating here!
The atmosphere, service, and most portably, food, was great! My friend and I ordered the flames roll, tropical paradise roll, a dynamite roll and a couple pieces of salmon and tuna sashimi. The salmon and tuna was very fresh, and the rolls were delicious! We'll be coming back for sure!

The combo that you mentioned has been changed almost 2 years ago, and it is now a completely different combo with a different price. We have already contacted Urbanspoon to change the menu pictured here but are still waiting for their response. However, you can always find our menu on our website and it is always updated if there are any changes.

Good value. Tried sushi crave for the first time. ordered teriyaki chichen bento and shrimp dumplings. the bento was good but my oh my the shrimp dumplings were great. i highly recommend. not bad value for the dollar.
Incredible Maki Rolls. Just tried Sushi Crave a few weeks ago and have been back several times now. It is small, seating for about 10 but I prefer take out. Everything is extremely fresh and flavourful. I believe they use real crab in their california rolls and a previous writer is correct - the special spicy ones are even better. I agree with previous comments regarding the shrimp dumplings, the shrimp and yam tempura is also fantastic. Very friendly service and a customer reward card for a free order of maki rolls is appreciated. A welcome addition to our neighborhood!
Nice and simple. I haven't really been to many sushi places as I usually just buy them at grocery stores. But me and my friend who lives in Millrise decided to visit and we both agreed that it was extremely good and to visit this place more often. The place is very small and only have 2 small tables but it doesn't bug me because we wanted to take it home anyways. You should definitely try the shrimp dumplings and the crispy spicy california(it has a little hint of spice but they have the extra spicy option now which I prefer).
It's a nice little sushi place that I found the other day when I was on my way back home. Surprisingly they sell good sushi for a take out little place. The fish are fresh and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back again soon!
Love this place. The place IS small, but its never bugged me because i always just do take out. never had a bad experience and the sushi has always been amazing. i find myself going back at east once every week! So glad a good place opened up close to home.
Beautiful sushi. Just dropped in one day for a quick lunch and found this little amazing sushi place. It was spotlessly clean and the sushi was not only the BEST I've ever had here in Calgary but it was beautiful to look at. This is a must to try. I'd drive across the city to have some. I've been twice in the last 2 days since I found it but today is Sunday and they are closed or I'd be there again. Love love love IT!

Sushi Crave. We wanted to go to pizza hut on the weekend but noticed there was no lunch buffet so we decided to try this new establishment. The seating inside was very minimal, and by minimal i mean 4 stools i think. The interior is very different, maybe because they are new there is no menu boards. This seems like more of a take out spot. The food was okay.
