Consistently good place for lunch. Tried a lot of the items and offerings and have never had a bad meal. Go early to avoid the lunch rush. Owner is super nice

VERY fresh food.
I am a regular customer here. I usually get the Chicken Won Ton soup. The broth is amazing and not over salted - like home made.
Today I deviated from my normal order and went for a Sate Beef Vietnamese sub. I would say it is better than the Vietnamese sub shop near the Harry Hays building that everyone raves about.
The staff are awesome. I always have a great conversation when I go there.
I highly recommend it.

Ordered a satay beef Vietnamese sub. This sub offered tomato slices as a topping - something I have not seen yet!  The sub was loaded and heavy.  It's definitively a sub to get if you are starving. There was tons of meat (probably the most meat I've ever had in a viet sub).  I really wish the sub had crushed peanuts - I did see crushed peanuts for another dish and tried to ask the lady as she was preparing the sub, but she was so busy as there were tons of customers that it didnt get added on.  Overall a decent sub.

First visit and loved it. The portions are huge and the prices are cheap! Friendly staff and tons of choices! Can't wait to try the other options! If you are going for your first time, try avoiding busy time. The menu is huge and takes time to decide.

Yummy!. In my experience the options for +15 eateries can be a gamble, if you're lucky... meh but mostly yuck, or the feeling you paid way too much for a simple turkey sandwich however, this place definitely stands out. Lunch specials are a steal and the subs are spectactular. Pair quality ingredients with super friendly service and you have a stand out winner. Here you will find an owner who actually cares what you are eating (not someone who relies on high traffic to turn a profit) and is proud to tell you where he sources the bread, how the meat is marinaded etc. and you can certainly taste the difference. Well done :)
