Like walking into a timewarp but a good timewarp. Ambience from the 70's, menu from the 80's but most importantly prices from the 90's. Staff was very friendly.
A hidden gem, it's been around forever and is classic 70's style. Some of the best pizza and steak you can find in the city, definitely worth checking out if you have never been.
This restaurant is a legend! It's old and has retro 70's decor but is so comfortable; which adds to the entire experience. They have an open flame grill which made my filet mignon absolutely perfection. The food overall is fantastic!! I recommend the calamari, crab, pizza, lasagna...I could go on and on. The service is just as fantastic!! The owner is one of a kind and is a very special man. He is kind, generous, and down to earth. He made a special point to come to our table to introduce himself. If you're looking to escape the boring suburban chain restaurants, then come here to a Calgary classic. 👍🏼👍🏼
To whom cares about the crazy review by a someone named Richelle who real name is Haley attempted characterization assassination against this restaurant came to work high everyday could not focus and concentrate properly customers complaining about her, boyfriend came in swearing and screaming at her from across the restaurant why she wasn't done work yet and over all drove us crazy for a couple weeks. And after one week of working told us she was going on a trip, the trip she Took was to meet some person that she had met online she said . We did not ask her back to work when she came back for obvious reasons

I get take out from here all the time. Their pizza is some of the best in the city! I don't go into the restaurant very often because it's not a very nice looking place, but the delivery guys are awesome! The house dressing is always a hit, and they have pretty good wings as well.
I can't complain about the food because it was damn good! I will definitely come again just on the basis of it being a quality meal. My only problem was the staff who were really unfriendly and frumpy. A few times I noticed three of the front end staff just standing around at the cash register staring at us! Like, come fill my coffee cup, or just DO SOMETHING! Our own waitress was nice enough, but a bit of a derp. My kudos go out to the cooks in the back for a dinner well done. And good quality food is what counts the most when dining out, right?
We continue to be impressed with Capri. We originally discovered this place after looking to find a good pizza in our new neighbourhood. Tonight we went inside and enjoyed Shrimp Scampi, Greek Style Ribs and Homemade Cheesecake. Plus I had to pick up a pizza for lunch! Will be back soon.
Poor service but takeout decent. Lasagna and wings were ok.
Yes it's old and looks funny. BUT THE STEAKS they are amazing. I had a steak that was perfect. Rare but cooked through perfectly. Served with over cooked boiled vegetables and great french fries in true steak house fashion.
My favorite Calgary Pizza.... but Capri, you have raised your prices yet again! Time for me to find a new favorite.... too bad :(
