Swiss Chalet owned by the same company which owns Saint Hubert and they should use Saint Hubert coleslaw recipe. Chicken is cooked well done but needs the sauce to be edible. Maybe chicken needs better spicing. Three star rating.
Now a year later and several meals at Swiss Chalet I decided to update review. We had coupons and the meal was excellent. Service was great. The server went beyond excellent. Too bad the restaurant was largely empty as it deserves more patrons. But I still wish they had Saint Hubert’s coleslaw. Then it would be a 5 star rating. So I now give it 4 stars.
Likes and dislikes. You really cant go wrong with the price. The food is good and they have a great kids menu. I recommend this place to familys. Service always seems mediocre and I cant STAND the atmoshere in here. I unscrewed the bulb above our table just because its so blinding. But hey, for the price you cant go wrong and we always get the coupons off the web for their dinners so we get a lot for very little.
Swiss Chalet used to be among one of my favourite restaurants. But it seems that the chicken is getter drier, they've cut back on the fries, and the sauce seems watered down. Too bad, I wonder what happened.

It is always nice when you get good service (can be a little sketchy in a diner type environment) but our service was great today, friendly and attentive, and the food was hot and fresh.
