Wings are great! Fish & Chips $10 on Fridays is awesome. Their fries and seasoning are best I have ever had. Plus local and global beers on tap!
Great no nonsense pub. Went last night with a group to watch the game and have dinner. Everything we ordered was hot, tasty and served in a timely manner. Our waitress was clearly over worked and still managed to have everything to us without a wait. Great service, surprisingly good food and a menu that is full of interesting items - I think we've found our new spot in the North.

Fun night. Had a very different experience than some of the other recent posters. came in on a weeknight to meet some friends. they had their ribs on special so I ordered a plate and then another followed by another. pretty tasty stuff. the service was attentive and friendly. I am new to the neighborhood and will be making fiddlers courtyard my second home!
Awesome Food and Great Atmosphere. I've been to Fiddler's a few times now and I've always been impressed. The food is amazing, especially the ribs and the prices can't be beat. $4 bottles of beer!!! It's refreshing going somewhere that doesn't charge $8/beer. I've also seen some good live music here.
The blackened chicken burger with fries was great! Good burgers. Was there for lunch and service was good. Would come again. Casual place for sure, the older style worn look may only appeal to some. Adds character in my opinion.
Good food & name that tune. A friend of mine brought me down here to try there food which she always talked about. I must say it was amazing. Had the 10oz NY and it was one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. We stuck around for Name that tune as we had a few more friends joining us. It was great time playing the music trivia and getting everyone involved and dancing haven't seen anything like it. I will have to go back again for sure
This is my neighhood pub and I love it here. The staff is friendly and so are the owners/management! They have done awesome new renovation which really added to the place! The food is yummy! But can take a little time to get to you. But just gives you a reason to have another beer!
I think what this city needs is a REAL British pub. I travel to England and damned if you can get a real fry up in Calgary. If you call it authentic pub food then make real Brit pub food, not pizza and chicken strips. Do like that they have London Pride on tap. Also, the decor is fairly close to authentic, I like going on Sunday to watch Premire League games. But they need to do something with the food. I want BLACK PUDDING and eggs, with beans.
Haven't been here in a while. New owners and it's totally different from before. Food is great, especially the baby back ribs. Service is friendly and the most important thing is the washrooms are clean!! Definitely worth a visit if you are close to downtown.
Great Location. I have been by Fiddler's a couple of times because it is literally a couple minutes from my front door step.
Service is always good there. Friendly bartenders who help you quickly.
I usually just got for a drink, but the other day I had breakfast and it was... mediocre at best. And when your paying over 10$ for breakfast, you want a little bit more.
I have yet to try their traditional foods they serve (shepherd's pie, yorkshire pudding, etc.), I will try again another day.
Good for casual dinner & watching sports. We went on Sunday in our casual jeans & hoodie clothes, and this place hit the spot. My husband had the roast beef special tasted great and at $12, was a large portion and not sure how they made money! I had the french onion soup & salad, and was very pleased. GOOD VALUE.
Overall, it's a sport's pub, and given the crowd their aiming for, they did a great job of fulfilling our expectations.
Fiddle away the night. How much better can it get!! the food is good and the service is great!!!

I myself like english food and i was not dissapointed!
Plunked myself down and my drink order was taken and brought to me quite quickly even though it was busy.
The fish and chips were excellent! They did'nt go crazy on the batter like some to hide the size of the fish and the chips were bang on tasty.
My friend just had the soup of the day,vegetable beef,and was very happy with her order.
All washed down with a couple of pints and it was a very satisfying experience for both of us.
I would definitely recommend you check this place out if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.
A great neighbourhood pub. Fiddler's Courtyard has great food and wonderful friendly service. So far, everything I've had there has been good. The many TV screens in the place detract a little for me...I'm not a sports fan at all...but they keep the volume low, at least in the lunch and afternoon timeframe.
A pal and I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago. The offerings were rather plain and basic...not bad but not quite worth the trip either. Still, I'll be back for their great burgers and fish and chips.
Great Food, Great Service. I had this on my list to visit for a while now and finally decided I would try this place. I have no complaints, the food was great, the service was great...okay maybe I have one complaint...they serve Pepsi.

Wonderful food and great atmousphere.. Fish and chips... loved it! Pizza, LOVED IT.. Butter chicken, can't wait to have it again. I enjoy the food as well and the atmosphere of this British Pub. I would say it's the best food I have EVER had in a pub. No frozen chicken fingers in this place! WELL DONE! And service with a smile. YOU WILL ENJOY YOURSELF THERE!
