Service was very nice and friendly personal people! Now I haven't had Jamaican food that many times so I had high expectations and boy was it good I got the jerk chicken and the chicken was so tender! My bf got the ox tail and it was cooked to perfection! Loved it and will be regular customers!
Went to Krazy Jerk for lunch with a friend yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! We decided to order 2 different dishes and share, the barby fried chicken and the jerk chicken. We both ordered the lunch box portion and were shocked at how much food we got! My friend actually took some home. Both dishes were delicious as was the rum cake the friendly server recommended. The friendly service and delicious food have us wanting to come back for more!
Only been here once, but will definitely be back. Service was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. I had the fried plantain to start and they were tasty. Curry Goat for the main and it didn't disappoint. Very tender and curry sauce was great. It came with fried dumplings and simple salad (will swap with rice next time). My friend had the Barbie Fry Chicken which I tried and was delicious and will definitely have next time I dine there.
They take care of you. Came in thinking just another jamican place. There's a little soul in the food though! Give a try! Good portions, and more than just a takeout stand.
The food does not disappoint - tastes like it is straight out of a Jamaican shack - my only complaint is it's hard to find a menu online and they run out of certain foods fast
First time trying Caribbean food and thoroughly enjoyed it. Krazy Jerk is a friendly, tasty, little hole in the wall. The service was great, even though the menu was not really the menu (don't ask). Anyways, the oxtail was fall off the bone and delicious and the jerk chicken was spicy and tender. I also liked the coleslaw type salad, this bun ball thing, and the rice and beans were tasty Only issue is the price seemed a bit steep... $40 for 2 dishes and 2 Jamaican sodas.
Seemed high priced, confusing menu, not a great atmosphere. But the chicken dishes were really awesome. I've been craving the homemade bbq sauce and jerk chicken ever since. The owners are also super nice.
Best thing I've eaten in the 10 days I spent in Calgary.. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Jerk Chicken was fall of the bone, the salad was well dressed and crisp, and the rice was delicious.
Chill atmosphere,feels authentic. Seems like a hangout for the neighborhood Jamaicans and it's full of friendly happy people. Great service,great food. Homemade deliciousness
