Considering a downtown location a very reasonable place for super yummy burgers and Panini. Loved the place..
Very nice panini, good wholesome ingredients. Well worth the wait during their busy lunch periods. Their beet fries are wonderful, not many people can do them as good.
Yes! Just as I remembered the Mr. Chicken still a hit and the fries yummy! I got a good parking spot and beat the lunch rush. Today must be my lucky day!
On the last Saturday morning that I was back home in Calgary, I ventured out again for brunch #2 to catch up with a friend that had also been away for school. We originally wanted to go to the ever popular Over Easy Breakfast, but even though we tried to go early (like 9:30AM) the line up was still over 1 hour long… so we ended up looking up another brunch place to check out nearby.
My friend and I came here for lunch a few weeks back. We both ordered the veggie burger, hand cut fries and beet root chips. I've never had beet root chips before, but they were oily, crispy, and crunchy, all in a good way! The true star of lunch was the veggie burger, with the creamy avocado and tasty patty. The food here truly does not disappoint.
Holy Grill's Veggie Burger is the bomb. It tastes like a beef burger and is stuffed with a ridiculous number of delicious ingredients. Completely worth the price tag!
What a burger! I had the bacon avocado crisp for $8 which was so good. The bacon was crispy and salty with a bit in every bite. Melted cheddar on a soft bun with a slightly sweet taste. Freshness with the thick cut tomato and spinach leaves. A kick with the pickled eggplant and last but not least, one fried egg with the yolk still a bit soft in the middle. This comes close to my version of burger heaven. I only wished for more avocado in the burger! Their hand cut shoestring fries were also delicious. We came here at lunchtime and the place was packed out. There are tables outside on the balcony if you're willing to brave the cold or you can takeaway.
Had the Pacific Panini for lunch. Was pretty good, at the higher end of the price scale for downtown lunches but not outrageous. Bread was more of a thin pita style than the thicker panini bread I’m accustomed to, but it worked well. Gets very busy at lunchtime, recommend going early. Would definitely eat there again.
Came here with a group of coworkers since my work is located nearby. Always a busy place so definitely call and pre-order your food, or go around 1pm to avoid the huge rush. This was my first time eating here and I really enjoyed their prime rib burger and fries. One of the tastiest burgers, juicy and soft, not burnt and hard like many others I’ve had elsewhere.
Best food, best value. Period. This location definitely lives up to the standards of the 10 Ave one. Definitely, my favorite breakfast and lunch spot - an institution in Calgary. LOVE it as always!!
Saw this restaurant on 'You gotta eat here' and decided that we must try this place. Everything was fresh, and delicious! Loved the atmosphere here, people were friendly and helpful. Definitely a must try!
